This is Enta.<\/p>\n
The other day, I visited a Japanese language school and spoke briefly about Japanese people and Japan.<\/p>\n
Whether you\u2019re already designated as a technical intern or not, everyone wants to go to Japan.<\/p>\n
I wrote down the reasons why.<\/p>\n

Do you know what the average salary is in Nepal?<\/p>\n
As of 2023, it seems to be around 20,000 yen.<\/p>\n
What's more, it seems there's some pretty blatant caste-based discrimination,<\/p>\n
He was saying something to the effect that it\u2019s pretty hard to get to the top.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I hear that the elderly men and women who sell vegetables and other items on the side of the road are living almost entirely on a day-to-day basis.<\/p>\n
However, these people are still better off; apparently, there are part-time workers even lower down the ladder.<\/p>\n
There are workers who earn between 500 and 800 yen a day, and a significant number of them work on construction sites.<\/p>\n
Apparently, they\u2019re also found in other industries, such as food service, transportation, and retail.<\/p>\n

Apparently, the easiest way to tell the ranks apart is by the color of the car's number.<\/p>\n
As expected, government officials are at the top.<\/p>\n
Well, I hear there's a lot of bribery and other shady stuff going on, lol.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
1. High-ranking government officials and bureaucrats will visit Nepal.<\/p>\n
2. Next, it seems to be a company executive.<\/p>\n
It seems that, after all, people who have money or some kind of privilege are considered to be superior.<\/p>\n
4. Next, the general wealthy population<\/p>\n
The term \"general public\" refers to families that have owned land or held assets for generations.<\/p>\n
5. Agricultural Businesses<\/p>\n
It seems that people who have a stable job\u2014not just in agriculture\u2014are still better off.<\/p>\n
6. Workers (part-time workers earning 700\u2013800 yen per day)<\/p>\n
I hear there are quite a few young people in this line of work, where the job is unstable and you go whenever you\u2019re called.<\/p>\n
There seem to be many young people who have come from rural areas, and few who are originally from the capital, Kathmandu.<\/p>\n

In Kathmandu, I also saw some neighborhoods that were a step up from the most run-down ones.<\/p>\n
At first glance, the brick construction doesn't look too bad, but inside it's just trash\u2014and there's a stray dog? Or a pet?<\/p>\n
It was really bad\u2014the dead mice and the smell were pretty intense, too.<\/p>\n

Young people from rural areas who want to go to Japan at the slightest opportunity,<\/p>\n
They all head for the Japanese language school in Kathmandu.<\/p>\n
It seems everyone wants to move up to the middle class or higher!<\/p>\n
That's why I want to go to Japan, make a lot of money, and come back.<\/p>\n
