Actually, I'm heading off on a business trip to Nepal starting today!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s that time of year again for the annual interviews to hire technical interns and home visits to the selected candidates\u2019 families.<\/p>\n
Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is over, I\u2019ve been back to work with renewed vigor, but,<\/p>\n
Last year it was Vietnam, but this time it's Nepal!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
From what I hear from those around me, the era of Vietnamese workers is coming to an end, and<\/p>\n
It seems they are moving to Myanmar, Indonesia, and Nepal.<\/p>\n
There's a reason for this.<\/p>\n
It's money.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Vietnamese people are very strict and particular when it comes to money.<\/p>\n
If there is an error in the attendance sheet due to some mix-up,<\/p>\n
We\u2019re getting a flood of inquiries through the union asking, \u201cWhyyyy!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Since I'm Japanese, I think this might be wrong, so please check it for me.<\/p>\n
That's kind of how it is, but the Vietnamese are amazing.<\/p>\n
We'll be able to fix it next month, so there won't be any problems, but it's just amazing.<\/p>\n
I think this is something people at every company feel the same way about.<\/p>\n
From the company's perspective, if there's a mistake, they can only correct it the following month, so,<\/p>\n
I bet you're thinking, \"You don't have to go that far...\" lol<\/p>\n
But on the other hand, if the company ended up overpaying, they just keep quiet, don't they? (I guess it's the same for Japanese people too?? lol)<\/p>\n

Our company does its best to avoid mistakes, but they still happen.<\/p>\n
I review and check it multiple times, and the administrative scrivener double-checks it as well.<\/p>\n
Still, lol (though there might be some typos too)<\/p>\n
It's okay to make mistakes, but the important thing is how you bounce back, right? ^^<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That\u2019s something you don\u2019t really see in other countries.<\/p>\n
Even if there are any, the criticism seems rather mild.<\/p>\n
Is this difference due to national character??<\/p>\n
Well, either way, it just goes to show that there's a tendency like that lol<\/p>\n
It might be good to know that.<\/p>\n

By the way, it seems that Japan is 3 hours and 15 minutes ahead of Nepal, and<\/p>\n
It feels like going back just 3 hours and 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
If it's just that much, I can get by without even noticing the time difference.<\/p>\n
The flight is over 8 hours.<\/p>\n

Also, there\u2019s this talk about how few places actually tell you to wipe with toilet paper after you poop!?<\/p>\n
Basically, it meant wiping it by hand using the water that was already there, lol.<\/p>\n
It's pretty challenging, but I'm looking forward to it.<\/p>\n
I'll write another blog post about the restroom situation there, too.<\/p>\n

I'm also worried about what the situation will be like for updating my blog.<\/p>\n
I'm planning to buy a local SIM card for now, but we'll see how it goes.<\/p>\n

Please be patient for a little while longer regarding the quotes, cost estimates, and designs you have requested.<\/p>\n
I'll be back to my regular schedule starting on the 26th.<\/p>\n
You can do a lot of things as long as you have the internet, but please spare me the cost estimation and design work, lol.<\/p>\n
We plan to do our best to provide quotes whenever possible.<\/p>\n
