This is Enta.<\/p>\n
The job in Tottori that started a few days ago is finally over, and I'm planning to head to Anchor on the island starting next week lol<\/p>\n
The ocean around the island is so beautiful\u2014it's absolutely amazing!<\/p>\n
I'm dropping anchor out here in the freezing cold water, thinking, \"This would be awesome if it were summer,\" lol.<\/p>\n
But that's beside the point.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It's held taut right in the center of the mounting frame.<\/p>\n
That's right. It's a clip spacer.<\/p>\n
It seems to be selling pretty well as usual, which makes me happy for some reason.<\/p>\n
I was happy to see it being used at another job site (a company I wasn't familiar with) the other day.<\/p>\n
As you can see in the photo above, the supervisor really does take scoring very seriously!<\/p>\n
We\u2019re implementing a variety of measures to improve quality at a low price in order to boost our scores.<\/p>\n
This clip spacer is also part of that effort.<\/p>\n
After all, the site representative\u2019s evaluation depends on the score from the final inspection, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
That said, there are so few agents these days that the construction work itself has been plagued by problems, so as long as it passes the inspection, that\u2019s good enough for now.<\/p>\n
Since there\u2019s that way of thinking, times are certainly changing, aren\u2019t they?<\/p>\n

We try to bring them to the job sites we're working on as much as possible.<\/p>\n
We are also encouraging the general contractor to come up with creative solutions.<\/p>\n
So if that helps improve the score even a little, it makes us happy while we're working on the project.<\/p>\n

Recently, the use of ground anchors has been declining, and rebar insertion work has been on the rise.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, rebar installation work is now being performed not only by anchor contractors but also by slope stabilization and scaffolding contractors.<\/p>\n
In other words, the barrier to entry for installation has been lowered and workability has improved\u2014or rather, the performance of the machinery has improved.<\/p>\n
The machine is highly user-friendly, and above all, its compact size makes it easy to handle.<\/p>\n

Moreover, since the rebar insertion method is less expensive than ground anchors, government agencies tend to opt for that approach.<\/p>\n
With that in mind, demand for rebar installers is set to increase, so you\u2019re probably concerned about improving quality and workmanship, aren\u2019t you?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s such a simple design that, looking back now, I figure there\u2019s probably no room left for improving the quality or finish! That\u2019s just the nature of this construction method, lol.<\/p>\n

But even those improved clip spacers will eventually become obsolete, won't they?<\/p>\n
Once it becomes the norm, the government stops paying attention to it.<\/p>\n
No matter how creative you are, people will get tired of it in a few years.<\/p>\n
I just hope it doesn't end up with us running out of creative ideas before long, lol.<\/p>\n
So far, the clip spacers have been a huge hit with government officials!<\/p>\n
When I tell them it used to be stone, even the city hall officials are surprised.<\/p>\n

Lately, I\u2019ve often found myself thinking that when it comes to creativity and ingenuity, the newer the materials used, the easier it is to score points, and<\/p>\n
I guess the less the government knows, the happier people will be.<\/p>\n
I need to make something else before this one gets outdated.<\/p>\n

However, the knowledge I currently possess is also becoming outdated.<\/p>\n

In this day and age, when we constantly have to keep our knowledge and skills up to date, it\u2019s just exhausting for everyone, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
I mean, with even the major general contractors seeing a decline in quality and a growing lack of technical expertise among supervisors, I wonder where this is all headed?<\/p>\n
Even so, does the government agency still require points?<\/p>\n
Is it enough just to produce something that\u2019s decent?<\/p>\n
These are becoming difficult times.<\/p>\n
We'll need to think things through, won't we?<\/p>\n
