There’s something I’ve been thinking about while managing information distribution for site supervisors.

That is,There are a lot of comments. That’s the point. I used to post information about floor plans. At that time, most of my viewers were women who were planning to build a house.

The number of comments posted at that time wasn't very high relative to the view count, and the comments themselves were mostly very short messages or questions. That doesn't mean it was a bad thing, though, so I didn't really pay much attention to it.

In contrast, when I post content related to on-site supervision, I receive a huge number of comments regardless of the view count. I also feel that many of them are very long. When I think about why this might be, I wonder if it’s because, given their line of work, they’re used to writing long texts or have strong communication skills.

As I read through those comments,I get the feeling that site supervisors can be broadly divided into two categories.. This is just my personal opinion, though.

On the one hand,People who make rational decisions by justifying their thought process leading up to a conclusion based on established rules. And the other one is,People who believe that, when they keep their eyes on the finish line, the process itself is freeThat's it.

To put it simply, I feel there are two camps: those who “strictly adhere to what’s written in the blueprints and specifications and the techniques they’ve been taught,” and those who “have a clear end goal in mind but are free to come up with their own methods to get there.”

Of course, there probably won’t be much difference in the final product, and I don’t mean to suggest that one approach is “right” over the other. However, that’s only true if we’re considering the situation “as it stands right now.”

When I look ahead to future work styles and the future of the industry as a whole, if I had to choose between trying out new, innovative approaches and driving industry reform, I think the answer is “definitely the latter.”

It’s certainly not wrong for someone who has always used an open flame to reheat food to continue doing so as they have been. However, when you consider the dangers and the time involved, there are some risks. Even so, it is possible to continue using it while taking those precautions.

However, if we only think that way, the microwave oven would never have been invented. If we can dig deep into things and identify their essence, we’ll realize that there are infinite ways to fulfill that essence.

Are the rules wrong, or is my thinking off?
