This has absolutely nothing to do with slopes, but do any of you use an EcoCute at home?<\/p>\n

Apparently, this needs to be inspected and cleaned about twice a year, and since the maintenance crew told me so, I decided to give it a try this time.<\/p>\n

Our EcoCute was manufactured in 2012, and we haven't done it even once since then lol<\/p>\n
Well, it's about time it reached the end of its lifespan, but I figured I'd give it a try at least once.<\/p>\n

It's very easy to do, and<\/p>\n
1. Turn off the power<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 2. Turn off the water supply valve<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 3. Raise the pressure relief valve<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 4. Open the drain<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n That's it.<\/p>\n The exact location may vary slightly depending on the manufacturer and specifications, but this should work.<\/p>\n Here's the drainage status of our EcoCute.<\/p>\n At first, I thought this was the correct setup, but it turns out the black valve at the bottom is actually for draining the main unit.<\/p>\n The valve marked with a red circle is the tank's drain valve.<\/p>\n Turn this to drain the hot water from the tank.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The yellow circle indicates the water supply valve, so that's where you turn it off in step 2.<\/p>\n Apparently, you just need to let the water drain for about 2 minutes.<\/p>\n I've heard that pouring water from above is the best way to remove dirt, but,<\/p>\n I didn't quite understand it this time, so I'm thinking of giving it a try next time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Since I want to use things for as long as possible, it\u2019s best to do at least a little maintenance.<\/p>\n After cleaning, when I turned on the hot water at home, there was a sound like a fart and the air made a \"bubble-bubble\" noise, but after a while...<\/p>\n It's working normally again.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I'm not sure if it actually looks better, but I feel like it's improved somehow lol<\/p>\n I'm thinking I might give Java a try next time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Inspection and maintenance of machinery\u2014including the equipment we use in our slope stabilization work\u2014is extremely important.<\/p>\n If you take good care of it on a regular basis, you\u2019ll extend its lifespan and get more value for your money!<\/p>\n Let's make sure to check everything thoroughly!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
