(It's something we do every day...)<\/p>\n<p>Nitpicking over every little detail over and over and over and over lol (I get where you're coming from, but that's just an internal company rule\u2014it's not actually in the law.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I have the impression that many people who work exclusively in safety at major general contractors are surprisingly approachable and understanding, but,<\/p>\n<p>I get the impression that a lot of people say local general contractors aren't exactly the best when it comes to safety, lol.<\/p>\n<p>This is just my personal opinion, lol<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are people who, even when someone says something weird to them, just reply with something like, \u201cOh... I see...\u201d aren\u2019t there?<\/p>\n<p>That's because I'm afraid that if I make that person angry, things will get even weirder.<\/p>\n<p>Construction sites fear that they will be unable to get work done and that construction will become more difficult.<\/p>\n<p>That's why we end up having no choice but to play it safe and follow these strange safety rules.<\/p>\n<p>And then they just wrap things up by putting together photos and reports that make it look like they\u2019ve fixed the problem, don\u2019t they?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8600\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/562-peoples-free.jpg\" alt=\"Look up\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/562-peoples-free.jpg 600w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/562-peoples-free-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I think we\u2019ve reached a point where we can say this kind of thing is just weird, and I wonder if it\u2019s really the right thing to do.<\/p>\n<p>I do think we live in an age where it\u2019s easy to look things up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also, I\u2019d like them to point out more safety issues specific to that worksite.<\/p>\n<p>I sincerely hope this doesn't turn into a ridiculous safety patrol.<\/p>\n<p>Every now and then, there are people who make me think, \u201cOh, I see!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Personally, I think it would be good to have a few ideas like that up your sleeve.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For example, they said it\u2019s okay to use rebar as a grounding rod for now, lol (A Chubu Electric Power employee actually said this!)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See you later<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.
