Do this, do that.<\/p>\n<p>\"How's the wound looking a week later?\"<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I just wonder if any decent contractor would even want to say anything in a situation like this.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s easier to just say, \u201cAs long as it\u2019s nothing serious, that\u2019s fine, right?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You totally get that feeling of not wanting to say it because you care so much, right?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So I'm going to be featured in \"Non-Work-Related Accidents\"\u2014one case, lol.<\/p>\n<p>They weren't wearing cut-resistant gloves!<\/p>\n<p>For that reason<\/p>\n<p>As a precaution, \u201cwear cut-resistant gloves when using a utility knife.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The worst part is when they say, \u201cDon\u2019t use a utility knife,\u201d lol.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Just think about it logically.<\/p>\n<p>You don't usually wear cut-resistant gloves all the time, do you?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-43501\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/a12aed7bf14f6ec979e9b37326ad1331.jpg\" alt=\"Cover-up of Work-Related Injuries\" width=\"507\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/a12aed7bf14f6ec979e9b37326ad1331.jpg 507w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/a12aed7bf14f6ec979e9b37326ad1331-300x296.jpg 300w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/a12aed7bf14f6ec979e9b37326ad1331-60x60.jpg 60w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 507px) 100vw, 507px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>However, I can understand how the general contractor feels.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the day, there were yakuza and small-time thugs who would try to extort money from us under the guise of workers' compensation claims and threaten us, and<\/p>\n<p>There was this guy who kept using workers' comp to spout nonsense, lol.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I think there are still some out there.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s true that there are some unscrupulous operators and front companies (yakuza) like that.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s exactly why these measures are in place to protect companies and site representatives, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I totally get it, but I feel like these days, an excessive focus on safety is slowing everything down.<\/p>\n<p>I can't help but wonder if that's the main reason costs are going up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is a difficult point, but,<\/p>\n<p>I think we can all understand that excessive safety measures can hinder profits and make people not want to work for that company, right?<\/p>\n<p>I feel like we could be a little more flexible.<\/p>\n<p>The Labor Standards Inspection Office should also be more lenient, and<\/p>\n<p>I want people to understand that imposing penalties is what makes it hard to speak up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Every time there's an accident, more rules are added.<\/p>\n<p>I think I've said this before, but the same kind of accidents keep happening no matter how much time passes.<\/p>\n<p>And then, doesn't that lead to a push to raise awareness and eliminate accidents?<\/p>\n<p>But it won't go away.<\/p>\n<p>Accidents like this happen everywhere.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-49462\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/2a757bf2f6a4dcba073c66bc1caea926.png\" alt=\"Ensure Full Awareness\" width=\"180\" height=\"180\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 150%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The reason is that they don't share any information about the accident at all.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's it!<\/p>\n<p>There is no system in place for general contractors and other companies to share accident information nationwide!<\/p>\n<p>General contractors don't disclose their own accidents. (Major accidents make the news.)<\/p>\n<p>If companies were to make that information public, more people would become aware of these accidents, and<\/p>\n<p>If the types of work are similar, you can inform everyone before construction begins, right?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I suppose I just don't want people to think that safety management was lax when an accident happens.<\/p>\n<p>It could easily be seen as a disgrace to the company.<\/p>\n<p>That's why you're hiding it, isn't it?<\/p>\n<p>But I think this is the crux of the matter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If all construction companies nationwide were to make this kind of information public,<\/p>\n<p>I think we could raise more awareness, and,<\/p>\n<p>I think this might help raise contractors' awareness, even if only a little.<\/p>\n<p>And safety rules should also be standardized nationwide, and<\/p>\n<p>I wish they'd stop with this ridiculous \"custom rules\" nonsense lol<\/p>\n<p>Speaking from my own personal perspective, \u201cI can\u2019t possibly remember that many!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I can't help but wonder if I should just go ahead and make something after all!<\/p>\n<p>Because I want to help reduce accidents, even if only a little.<\/p>\n<p>I'll think about it for a bit.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.
