I'm Enta, and during safety patrols, the safety officer always points out things like that to me lol<\/p>\n
I'm so picky about names\u2014what a dumb thing to point out, lol<\/p>\n

But we do use harness-type safety belts properly on site.<\/p>\n

So, there's another problem here.<\/p>\n

We're spraying the material on the slope like this, but,<\/p>\n
We are using the main rope as usual.<\/p>\n
Also, although you can't see it in the photo, I'm using a safety block.<\/p>\n

In our case, we use single carabiners, ropes, and safety blocks, and so on,<\/p>\n
I hang two of them side by side, pretty much however I like.<\/p>\n
I can tell the difference between climbing ropes and single-strand ropes by their color and thickness, but I just can't tell the difference with safety blocks!<\/p>\n
It doesn't look like a photo, so I'm not doing it!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n That's the conclusion people tend to reach.<\/p>\n Sometimes, even if you're right there, people assume you're not doing it just because they can't see you lol (Look closer!)<\/p>\n I mean, there\u2019s no way you\u2019d be able to see a 4-mm wire, though.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So, what should we do?<\/p>\n When you think about it, the simple answer is: just paint it!<\/p>\n If it's stainless steel wire, I think if you degrease it once and then spray it, it won't come off easily, you know~<\/p>\n Ideally, it would be great if there were products like that made with color-coated wire, but they\u2019re pretty rare, aren\u2019t they? (Do they even exist??)<\/p>\n For now, I tried painting the wire on our safety block as an experiment ^^<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At first glance, blue is easy to see, but I feel like it just blends right into the background when you're in the mountains surrounded by trees and dirt.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Looks like the red is fading too, huh?<\/p>\n Well, I guess it would be easy to spot if the site were constantly in direct sunlight or if the soil on the slope were a light color.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It's white, isn't it?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After all, the rope really stands out when it's brand-new and white.<\/p>\n If you stretch it out, degrease it, apply a coat of white paint, and let it sit for a day, it should turn out just right.<\/p>\n I ordered one brand-new one for now, so I'm planning to give it a try.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I can just imagine someone saying, \u201cThe paint\u2019s all clogged up inside~~~!\u201d but,<\/p>\n There are some people who just complain without doing anything, but I just ignore them lol.<\/p>\n Just give it a try\u2014if it doesn't work, make some improvements!<\/p>\n Since slope workers aren't putting their lives on the line with Safety Blocks, this is just an experiment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In the worst-case scenario, we'll have no choice but to raise the national flag from the safety block, right? (It'll be super visible and brighten up the scene? lol)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If the manufacturer would just release a product using colored wires, I\u2019d buy it without any hesitation, right?<\/p>\n It's better when safety procedures are clearly visible.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>Right!?
