We have no choice but to use water.<\/p>\n<p>We drill the hole while blasting away the clay with water pressure.<\/p>\n<p>A water swivel is typically attached to the end of the drilling rod.<\/p>\n<p>However, few vendors carry it, so you can't get it right away in an emergency. (And it's super expensive right now.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In such cases, attach a high-pressure washer or similar device to the air stream coming out of the drill bit during drilling to use water.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-40121\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-28-12.17.12-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"Suspended Drilling Rig, Mizuhori\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-28-12.17.12.jpg 600w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/2019-09-28-12.17.12-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This air line exits directly from the bit tip without passing through the Euler (oil tank).<\/p>\n<p>I can already hear people saying, \u201cBut the inside will rust, right?!\u201d\u2014but honestly, I don\u2019t think it\u2019ll have that much of an effect. (Just my personal opinion.)<\/p>\n<p>The reason is\u2014as anyone familiar with the machine\u2019s design will know\u2014there\u2019s a single air pipe running right through the very center of the machine.<\/p>\n<p>Since the air flows through there, it doesn't affect the other gears.<\/p>\n<p>So I think it should be fine if it's just a few days' worth of water. (At your own risk, lol)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As long as you make sure to oil it thoroughly at the beginning and end of each day, you should be just fine.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the job, it's enough to blow a small amount of oil into the rod using compressed air.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rather than just saying, \u201cI can\u2019t do it,\u201d I\u2019d like to get the job done on-site by using my ingenuity.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are some things you just can't do, so when that happens, just let it go and move on to the next method!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ve added a banner at the top of the site.
