Back when I was a salaryman, I really hated it and thought it was a waste of time.<\/p>\n
What I hate is that it's just such a hassle\u2014talking about accident scenarios that haven't even happened yet and discussing accident prevention measures,<\/p>\n
Pointing out the flaws in other projects...<\/p>\n
Back then, there were many times when I didn't go because the workplace was so busy\u2014even though I knew it was a waste of time.<\/p>\n

I think construction workers generally just tough it out when things get busy on site, but,<\/p>\n
I really have to hold safety meetings and disaster prevention meetings at my workplace, lol.<\/p>\n

I find the major disaster prevention associations, in particular, to be very educational.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s well put together, and the disaster case studies are specific enough that I can share them with my colleagues when I get back to the office.<\/p>\n
It wasn't until our staff started growing that I started feeling that way, though lol<\/p>\n
It can be difficult for small and medium-sized businesses like ours to stay aware of unusual disaster scenarios, unusual laws, and changes to labor standards.<\/p>\n
Since it's a major company, they take compliance (adherence to laws and regulations) very seriously, so they'll explain everything in detail.<\/p>\n
It's easier to understand than if we were to look it up ourselves.<\/p>\n

I've been thinking this for a long time, but,<\/p>\n
I believe that working on sites operated by major general contractors, NEXCO, and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is essential for a site supervisor to become truly top-tier.<\/p>\n
I truly believe that supervisors who have been thoroughly trained in safety management and legal compliance\u2014and who are capable of putting that training into practice\u2014are indeed top-notch.<\/p>\n
Safety management\u2014it seems like we\u2019re doing it, but it tends to get neglected more often than you\u2019d think.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A certain level of knowledge is also necessary to carry out construction while ensuring proper safety.<\/p>\n
That is why I believe it is important for safety committees and disaster prevention associations from other sites to participate.<\/p>\n
That way, you can picture it while relating it to your own workplace, right?<\/p>\n
