When it comes to construction, the contractors often think, \u201cIf we did it this way, the quality would improve,\u201d or \u201cIf we did it that way, we could shorten the construction schedule.\u201d<\/p>\n
That kind of thing happens sometimes, but it hasn't been incorporated at all.<\/p>\n
That's because it's the contractor's job\u2014it's like fleshing out the basic design.<\/p>\n

That's because, in design consulting, this is what the site actually looks like.<\/p>\n
Let's design this using this, that, and the other thing.<\/p>\n
So, for now, we'll come up with about four construction methods, and ultimately decide on the least expensive one.<\/p>\n
Generally, I compare prices and go with the cheaper option, but,<\/p>\n
Basically, the construction method has pretty much already been decided, so it\u2019s a done deal, lol.<\/p>\n

Generally speaking, these are typical construction methods, such as frame construction combined with rock bolting or anchor installation.<\/p>\n
However, whenever other proprietary construction methods are involved, the design departments or sales teams at the major firms are pulling the strings behind the scenes (lol).<\/p>\n
Occasionally, there are special construction methods that surprise me when I get involved in the design process, but,<\/p>\n
In cases like that, is it the construction method favored by the official at the local government office? (Or someone higher up?) Or...<\/p>\n
This is a construction method that construction consultants really like.<\/p>\n

Other than that, the shadows are always moving lol<\/p>\n
In that case, since we\u2014as general contractors\u2014can\u2019t purchase the materials even if we\u2019re able to do the work, we\u2019ll have to back out.<\/p>\n
Well, that makes sense since I don't have the rights, lol.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not necessarily true that the construction method specified in the design is the best one.<\/p>\n
If the goal is to shorten the construction period, it would be better to use anchor work combined with pressure plates rather than using anchor work alone for the retaining wall.<\/p>\n
In terms of workability, even among load-bearing plates, steel load-bearing plates are preferable to prestressed concrete (PC) load-bearing plates.<\/p>\n
Even among frame sizes, the \u25a1300 offers better workability and value for money than the \u25a1200.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Design consultants are just doing their jobs.<\/p>\n
So, the design itself is fine.<\/p>\n
I mean, it\u2019s obviously weird, right? Not that I\u2019m saying anything, lol.<\/p>\n
It is also part of our job as contractors to adapt the plans so that we can carry out the work efficiently and in a way that maximizes our profits.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, there are construction supervisors who carry out the work exactly as specified in the plans, but,<\/p>\n
That's fine as it is, but as a construction manager, I'd like them to do their best. (Though there are often times when leaving things as they are is best.)<\/p>\n
The reason is that even if it\u2019s difficult to install, we go ahead and install it anyway\u2014we make sure it gets installed.<\/p>\n

Making design changes requires a fair amount of experience, wisdom, technical skill, and know-how.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's it.<\/p>\n Because that wasn't enough at that stage, lol<\/p>\n A competent supervisor will make adjustments to ensure the work is easy to carry out and that the project is profitable.<\/p>\n If the director just goes along with whatever the government tells him and keeps saying things like, \u201cYeah, you\u2019re right,\u201d I\u2019m worried about what the future holds, lol.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Gain a solid understanding of the basic design provided by the design consultant, and This is how a worksite should truly be.<\/p>\n Complaining about the design won't get us anywhere.<\/p>\n How can we operate efficiently, generate a profit, and get the best value for our money?<\/p>\n If you keep this in mind while doing the work,The workplace suddenly became a lot more interesting<\/span><\/strong><\/span>It will be.<\/p>\n Keeping a close eye on your budget will make the construction process even more enjoyable, don't you think?<\/p>\n On the other hand, while it will be challenging, the sense of fulfillment you get as an engineer will increase significantly.<\/p>\n I mean, it\u2019s a job for the general contractor, but if you\u2019re a first-tier subcontractor, you\u2019d be involved in that sort of thing, right?<\/p>\n Everyone wants advice and suggestions like, \u201cIf you do it this way, you\u2019ll get things done faster.\u201d<\/p>\n I recommend bringing this up during your on-site meeting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
