The other day, I got a call from a company called Denki Hosho Co., Ltd.<\/p>\n

Denki Hosho Co., Ltd.: \u201cWe\u2019re calling on behalf of Chubu Electric Power. May we verify the inspection number on your usage statement?\u201d<\/p>\n

Me: \u201cWhat kind of work has Chubu Electric Power commissioned you to do?\u201d<\/p>\n

Denki Hosho Co., Ltd.: \u201cRegarding the Increase in Electricity Rates...\u201d<\/p>\n

Me: \u201cI have a contact at Chubu Electric Power. Would it be okay if I checked with them first and then called you back?\u201d<\/p>\n

Denki Hosho Co., Ltd.: \u201cTu-tu-tu\u201d<\/p>\n

I got cut lol<\/p>\n

Lately, we\u2019ve been receiving sales pitches for copiers and contact from fraudulent companies such as Denki Hoken Co., Ltd.<\/p>\n

When I'm not busy, it's fun and I can put up with it, but when I'm busy, I seriously lose it lol<\/p>\n

The Significance of Drilling for Slime Collection<\/h3>\n

You know how sometimes you end up with slime when you're doing anchor work, right!?<\/p>\n

I don't usually take on first-tier subcontracting work, but I will if instructed to do so.<\/p>\n

What does this tell us, anyway??<\/p>\n

To be honest, I don't really know anything about it lol<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If I had to say,I guess it's just a matter of color, huh?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1 m, 2 m, 3 m... up to 20 m, and<\/p>\n

Even if I collect samples every meter, they\u2019re already completely mixed together, and in fact, I can\u2019t even tell which part the slime came from.<\/p>\n

They're busily catching them with a net, aren't they?<\/p>\n

For example, because I forgot to pick up the slime,No one can tell if the ore was mined by cutting into the mountain next to it.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

It would be fine if that\u2019s just how it\u2019s used, but it\u2019s more like the inspector asks, \u201cDid you take the slime?\u201d so I end up taking it,<\/p>\n

It seems like things have gotten a bit confusing.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, even if you\u2019ve obtained the documents, the government office won\u2019t accept them when you submit them.<\/p>\n

So what's that supposed to mean??<\/p>\n

The Drilling Slime is not a target for inspection.<\/h3>\n

I\u2019ve never once been asked during a final inspection if I made sure to remove all the slime.<\/p>\n

Has anyone ever been told that??<\/p>\n

Besides, it\u2019s not even subject to inspection, is it?<\/p>\n

It doesn't affect the score, either.<\/p>\n

The inspector has never even asked me about slimes!<\/p>\n

You cannot make design changes after collecting a slime.<\/h3>\n

You cannot make changes\u2014such as increasing the design length simply because the color of the anchorage section differs\u2014based on comparing the collected slime samples with the bar chart.<\/p>\n

Generally speaking, there is no need to change the design of the anchor length itself, as long as the borehole diameter remains the same.<\/p>\n

Since the friction on the circumference changes when the drilling diameter changes, the drilling length also changes.<\/p>\n

It says this.<\/p>\n

The color of the slurry during drilling and the drilling speed (which indicates the hardness of the rock) are used as references for assessing the suitability of the ground.<\/p>\n

Even under the same geological and weathering conditions, the color tones often differ.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

What this means is,<\/p>\n

That just goes to show that you can't rely on a slime's color.<\/p>\n

So it's just for reference, I guess lol<\/p>\n

As a construction manager,<\/h3>\n

From an administrator's perspective, I think either option is fine.<\/p>\n

If you want to collect it, go ahead; the same goes for the opposite.<\/p>\n

If you can say with certainty, \u201cI won\u2019t take it!\u201d then that\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n

There is no penalty for not collecting the sample.<\/p>\n

So it's all on you, huh? lol<\/p>\n
