I heard that the area around Shizuoka was hit pretty hard the other day, and since I know quite a few people there, I'm worried.<\/p>\n
I received a message from a friend first thing this morning saying they're having a hard time, so I'd like to offer my sympathies.<\/p>\n
Since there are reports that it may rain again, we recommend that everyone in mountainous areas and regions with many cliffs evacuate as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
As it stands, the mountain has not yet fully drained the water, so if it rains here again, the situation will become extremely dangerous.<\/p>\n
Please be very careful.<\/p>\n
But that's beside the point.<\/p>\n

This is the site where we carried out stabilization work on a stone wall that had collapsed during the summer.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Due to the typhoon, there was quite a bit of heavy rain in Aichi Prefecture, so,<\/p>\n
I went to check out the scene at that time.<\/p>\n

At this site, the stonework protrudes outward, and<\/p>\n
There were also quite a few cracks in the joints, and soil and sand had washed away from the back side. (Work was completed in June.)<\/p>\n

The force is concentrated in a specific direction, and cracks have formed throughout the structure.<\/p>\n

The yard has sunk quite a bit\u2014it's a seriously bad situation.<\/p>\n

We thoroughly removed the thin joint mortar and injected Moldam.<\/p>\n

We then addressed the water\u2014which was causing the seepage\u2014by using a dewatering well.<\/p>\n

Water was trickling out of that dewatering borehole. (Drilled length: 4 m)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Just this alone will stabilize the mountain.<\/p>\n
Well, it would be tough if there were more landslides or collapses than expected, but I think we can generally handle it by draining the water.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re usually a slope stabilization company that focuses on public works projects, but when it comes to private homes,<\/p>\n
We can provide cliffs and ground that ensure a safe living environment!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I've been thinking lately that,<\/p>\n Construction companies and real estate agents don't give the ground conditions a second thought. (Do real estate agents just sell properties?)<\/p>\n But if the ground is solid, the house shouldn't waver even if a disaster strikes, right?<\/p>\n They say that the foundation of a house is built to be sturdy, but,<\/p>\n Since the foundation of a house is made of concrete, it can be calculated to a certain extent.<\/p>\n But actually, the ground is even lower than that.<\/p>\n What's important is...<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There are plenty of techniques for reinforcing that area, but cost-effectiveness is certainly a factor, isn't it?<\/p>\n My personal recommendation is to build a rock-solid foundation, and<\/p>\n I just kind of think to myself, \u201cBuilding a cabin up there would probably be the safest option,\u201d lol.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
