This is Enta.<\/p>\n
We've been working on stone wall repairs in Yokohama for the past few days.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This is what the dry stone wall looked like before construction began.<\/p>\n
As you can see, there are still a few grout lines left, but they're the kind you can just wipe away by hand lol<\/p>\n
It appears to be stonework from about 50 years ago, and the mortar in the joints has already served its purpose.<\/p>\n

It appears to have been repaired a few times, but even those repairs have deteriorated.<\/p>\n

If you remove all the grout from it (by chiseling it out) and wash it, it will look like the image above.<\/p>\n
The original plan was to inject 10 cm, but since the neighbors here have been so kind to us,<\/p>\n
Anyway, we decided to just fill it up to the brim (thicker than the design called for) lol<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Since the design is based on an average thickness, about 10 centimeters should be sufficient, but,<\/p>\n
On top of that, it\u2019s injected all the way up to the top surface of the stone.<\/p>\n
I'd guess the average injection is at least 15 centimeters, lol.<\/p>\n

I think you can tell how much has been injected by looking at the width of the joint.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
If we do this much, about 40% of the entire area will be covered by Moldam, so I think we can definitely maintain overall continuity.<\/p>\n
He shouldn't flinch at the slightest thing, lol.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
One thing I\u2019ve noticed in my work is that when a client is cooperative, the contractor naturally wants to do their best to meet their expectations.<\/p>\n
I want to do the work in a way that will make things go in a positive direction, even if only a little.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s how the contractor feels.<\/p>\n
The moment a general contractor starts thinking they're superior, that relationship breaks down.<\/p>\n
Since we contractors are paid to do our jobs, we do, of course, carry out the work we\u2019ve been contracted to do accurately\u2014at the very least\u2014but,<\/p>\n
Beyond that, it really comes down to the relationship, doesn't it?<\/p>\n
I hope we can work together in a positive atmosphere, respecting one another so that we can do our jobs well.<\/p>\n
It's actually pretty easy, isn't it? lol<\/p>\n
There are so many things that are hard precisely because they seem so simple, aren't there? ^^<\/p>\n
