I'm totally hooked on my current project lol<\/p>\n

It's supposed to be a single-pipe drilling job, but this isn't the kind of mountain where you can drill with a single pipe\u2014it can't be done without double-pipe drilling!<\/p>\n
Even if I drill a single hole, it crumbles right away.<\/p>\n
Since the borehole walls in the natural ground cannot stand on their own after drilling, rebar cannot be inserted.<\/p>\n

But in cases like this, it\u2019s really hard to make design changes, isn\u2019t it? (At least if it\u2019s based on an on-site inspection before construction begins.)<\/p>\n
Besides, there's nothing we can do if the deadline is looming.<\/p>\n
And the worst part is that the first phase of construction was actually carried out that way...<\/p>\n
If I had a little more time, I\u2019d like to make some design changes and ensure the work is done properly.<\/p>\n

When it comes to this, if someone tells you they were able to drill on the same mountain last time, you can\u2019t help but wonder, \u201cIs that really true?\u201d right?<\/p>\n
However, criticizing other companies' workmanship won't change anything, so,<\/p>\n
We are experimenting to determine the best construction methods to use, assuming that our company's technical capabilities are limited.<\/p>\n

As for the machinery, if we bring in a large suspended-type machine, we might still be able to manage (by digging a wider diameter), but,<\/p>\n
After all, it's designed for use with a small core drill on a rope-access scaffold.<\/p>\n
The site is quite narrow, so the machinery can't fit in.<\/p>\n

For this reason, the drilling is performed using a wire rope to provide counterforce.<\/p>\n
The core drill weighs only 65 kg, so it\u2019s super light and much easier to move around than machines from other companies.<\/p>\n
However, because it is lighter, it lacks power.<\/p>\n
To be honest, I wish it had a little more power...<\/p>\n

I bought the core drill this time, but I built the guide cell and hammer bed myself.<\/p>\n
For now, I'll use 3D CAD and prioritize weight.<\/p>\n
As a result, we were able to build it much lighter than the machines manufactured by the manufacturer.<\/p>\n
If the ground at this site had been a bit harder\u2014rock, for example, rather than soil\u2014I think we could have drilled the hole smoothly.<\/p>\n

Well, this is the first time I've built a mechanism like this, but it's working out pretty well (in terms of functionality).<\/p>\n
This project might be a money-loser, but it looks like we\u2019ll get something out of it anyway! (The development of a new drilling machine!?)<\/p>\n
I'm pretty sure everyone would want a small drill like this!<\/p>\n

I approach my work with the determination never to back down from any challenge, so I\u2019m able to carry out the construction work with a calm mind.<\/p>\n

To begin with, I\u2019m surprised by the consultant\u2019s decision to use single-hole drilling after assessing this site (soil conditions).<\/p>\n
I really wish they'd cut me some slack.<\/p>\n
This is a job site where the construction crew faces challenges and, if things go wrong, could easily result in construction defects.<\/p>\n
