I totally get that a 6-inch one is expensive and a bit of a stretch, but it\u2019s still a bummer when the first one\u2014which is only about 25 cm\u2014turns out like this lol.<\/p>\n
But that's beside the point.<\/p>\n
I installed a brand-new casing.<\/p>\n
So, I compared it to the casing I had been using up until then.<\/p>\n

The diameter is 115. (It is actually \u03c6118.)<\/p>\n
It looks pretty thin from this angle, too, doesn't it!<\/p>\n

My mindset was more like, \u201cThis unit price should be about right, right?\u201d<\/p>\n But your perspective changes depending on your position, doesn't it?<\/p>\n Unit price is important, but...<\/p>\n What's more important than the unit price isPrepare a quote using the same items as the cost estimate<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's the thing.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n From the perspective of a general contractor,<\/p>\n It's actually better to use a per-unit price because it makes everything lumped together harder to understand.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's right.<\/p>\n In the case of subcontractors, many people aren\u2019t familiar with government cost estimates, so they can\u2019t really complain even if they\u2019re paid a unit price.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n But is that really a good idea?<\/p>\n It's definitely better for subcontractors to learn the ropes in their own way.<\/p>\n I wouldn't go so far as to call it a cost estimate, but please obtain the design quantity schedule issued by the government office.<\/p>\n What specific items are listed there regarding slope stabilization and anchor work?<\/p>\n Then you just need to calculate the unit price. (You can also download the bid information\u2014though it doesn't include the commission.)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It's nonsense to talk about how much something costs without even understanding that point.<\/p>\n In this day and age, subcontractors can gather as much information as they want if they make a real effort to do so.<\/p>\n I think if we change the way we prepare estimates, we\u2019ll be able to create estimates that are even more rigorous than they are now.<\/p>\n If you gather information thoroughly and provide a quote based on that,<\/p>\n There's a chance we could make even bigger strides in the future, right?
