(Just thinking about it logically, lol)<\/p>\n<p>Even if you remove the bolt, rust-preventive oil will only come out from the rebar and the nut.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I guess we really don't need aluminum caps with rust-preventive oil after all.<\/p>\n<p>It's about time both consulting firms and government agencies stopped wasting money.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-45449\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2021-10-04-11.02.48.jpg\" alt=\"Reinforcing Bar Installer\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2021-10-04-11.02.48.jpg 600w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/2021-10-04-11.02.48-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At this site, we installed the rebar before using the Engineered Pile System (EPS), but the rebar has aluminum caps on them.<\/p>\n<p>Just bury it all under dirt, lol<\/p>\n<p>At this point, even construction consultants?? I wish they\u2019d give it a little more thought.<\/p>\n<p>Even if you\u2019ve treated the head, you don\u2019t really need an aluminum cap with rust-preventive oil, do you?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do you know how long galvanized coatings last?<\/p>\n<p>It lasts for about 25 years in coastal areas.<\/p>\n<p>Is rust-preventive oil necessary for galvanized rebar that will be embedded in concrete?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And if the aluminum cap were to crack for some reason in the future, there\u2019s a chance the rust-preventive oil inside could leak out, which could be a hassle (I\u2019m exaggerating, lol).<\/p>\n<p>I really hope that construction consulting firms and government agencies will stop being so fixated on past projects and track records and start realizing what\u2019s unnecessary.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.
