Who owns the items and machinery at the company?<\/p>\n

There are a lot of people who misunderstand things like this.<\/p>\n

People who have this misconception tend to think the same thing: they believe that everything in the company belongs to the president.<\/p>\n
That's not true.<\/p>\n
All of those items belong to the corporation. (For sole proprietors, they belong to the individual.)<\/p>\n

What Is a Corporation?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \"Although not human, they are recognized as legal persons under the law and may validly perform legal acts, <\/p>\n That's the point.<\/p>\n If you make a purchase using profits earned through company activities, everything becomes the property of the company as a legal entity.<\/p>\n The idea that \u201cwhat belongs to the company belongs to the president\u201d is wrong.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n However, when a company makes a major purchase,The business owner is a joint guarantor<\/span><\/strong><\/span>We will take out a loan. (Borrow money)<\/p>\n That means that if something goes wrong at the company, the management will take full responsibility for it.<\/p>\n That's where the risk for business owners lies.<\/p>\n That\u2019s exactly why business owners are so stingy. (It goes without saying.)<\/p>\n If you have a mortgage, you probably know exactly what I mean\u2014you spent your whole life building that house, right? lol (Though there are exceptions, of course.)<\/p>\n I think I took out a mortgage with myself as the joint guarantor and insured myself.<\/p>\n Can you just kick that house or break it apart? You'll take good care of it, right?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It's the same thing. From the company president's perspective, he'll do everything he can to protect the company he built by taking out a loan\u2014a loan that represents his entire life's work.<\/p>\n That\u2019s exactly why we take good care of the company\u2019s equipment and machinery, and why we pay attention to the little things. (It goes without saying, lol.)<\/p>\n This is just how it is.<\/p>\n What about the CEOs at your companies?
