This is Enta.<\/p>\n
I've been in Osaka for the past few days.<\/p>\n
Of course, I'm here on business (lol), but I heard all sorts of interesting stories.<\/p>\n

I heard that the area in question had been subject to alternating one-way traffic restrictions.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Apparently, he was eating bread there during his lunch break.<\/p>\n
Of course, we're under restrictions, so we work and take breaks within those limits.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\"Did you put those regulations in place just to feed people bread!?\"<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Apparently, the government office got a complaint about that lol<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This is just crazy, lol.<\/p>\n Just for eating bread, I get complaints.<\/p>\n Of course, the government office will contact the general contractor (the guy eating bread was the representative), lol.<\/p>\n I don't know exactly what he said, but did he tell me not to eat bread?? lol<\/p>\n <\/p>\n When you're working on-site, you get all kinds of complaints.<\/p>\n We're working on public works projects to keep the town safe, but there are always a certain number of people who don't approve of that, aren't there?<\/p>\n I always wonder why they don't think highly of me, but there have been various problems in the past, and ever since then they've been a bit of a nuisance, or maybe they were just a bunch of hooligans to begin with.<\/p>\n Overly sensitive? Noise? Vibration??<\/p>\n There are all kinds of people.<\/p>\n It\u2019s important for us as contractors to engage with and interact with those people, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n A long time ago, I also had a neighbor whose house was right next to a worksite where people were always complaining.<\/p>\n Even though it\u2019s clearly going to be better than it is now, and the construction won\u2019t even take three months, they still find something to complain about all the time lol (steep slope construction)<\/p>\n The government office was also at a loss, but since I was acting as their representative, I couldn\u2019t just sit back and do nothing, so I made a point of greeting them every morning while taking steps to address the situation.<\/p>\n I made a point of talking to them as much as possible.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Eventually, they started directing their complaints to me personally, and by the end, we were able to have casual conversations like normal.<\/p>\n In the end, I realized that people don\u2019t say mean things to those they get along with, so from then on, I felt that any complaints I had on set could be resolved through communication.<\/p>\n That experience still resonates with me today.<\/p>\n At the end of the day, we just don't talk enough.<\/p>\n We haven't met in person to talk.<\/p>\n Of course, there are people who aren't a good fit. But I suppose you should make that judgment only after communicating thoroughly with them.<\/p>\n Just by looking at someone, there's absolutely no way to tell whether I like them or not.<\/p>\n Have a good talk, and gradually build a conversation to close the distance little by little.<\/p>\n As a result of those efforts, I think I\u2019m beginning to understand why the other person is complaining\u2014to grasp their feelings.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Various IT technologies and DX (digital transformation) are advancing, but in the end, this is really what it all comes down to, isn't it?<\/p>\n If anything, there\u2019s a good chance that the down-to-earth, old-school Showa-era style of customer service will actually be appreciated going forward, lol.<\/p>\n I'm the type of person who finds that kind of thing a hassle, but based on my past experience, maybe it's worth considering?<\/p>\n The more we communicate, the better things will turn out, which will make our work easier.<\/p>\n It really makes me think about how important communication is\u2014whether it\u2019s among employees, between vendors, or among colleagues.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
