It looks like the rainy season is finally coming to an end!<\/p>\n

It's about time.<\/p>\n

Right after I said, \u201cI wonder if it\u2019s about to clear up??\u201d\u2014it turned into a massive downpour with thunder and lightning, and it was really rough.<\/p>\n

\"Typhoon\"<\/p>\n

Typhoons might be really bad in a lot of places this year~<\/p>\n

They say, \"I might come by often~!\" lol<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There's a reason for that.<\/p>\n

Observing the Sky and Predicting the Weather<\/span><\/strong><\/span>Did you know that? (Kantenboki)<\/p>\n

\"Observing the heavens and observing the atmosphere\" refers to predicting the weather based on natural phenomena and the behavior and appearance of animals.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>However,<\/p>\n

This year, the bees are building their nests only in low places!<\/p>\n

What's more, it's built below eye level!!!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a phenomenon rarely seen in recent years\u2014I\u2019ve been spotting bee nests at various sites, but they\u2019re all below eye level, you know...<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This \"reading the sky and observing the weather\" is actually surprisingly accurate. After all, I think it's a form of statistics that's been passed down since ancient times, lol.<\/p>\n

There are people who can tell when it's going to rain even when it isn't, right?<\/p>\n

Even humans seem to have some kind of premonition, so I think animals must have even more senses.<\/p>\n

Well, as the saying goes, \u201cA prediction is just a prediction,\u201d but if there are already signs that a disaster might strike, it\u2019s best to be prepared.<\/p>\n

Especially since there has been an increase in landslides specific to slopes recently.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It makes no sense for us engineers to make predictions based solely on the numbers right in front of us.<\/p>\n

Since my work involves dealing with nature, I naturally observe it and translate those observations into numbers.<\/p>\n

After all, my background is in civil engineering.<\/p>\n

Of course, we should probably consider the bees' behavior too?? (Not that I know, lol)<\/p>\n

By the way\u2014and this is completely unrelated\u2014when you think of bees, you think of honey.<\/p>\n
