The weather's been really bad all over the country, hasn't it?<\/p>\n
This is a real headache...<\/p>\n

I've been at the construction site in Nagano for the past few days.<\/p>\n
That's because the machine isn't working right, so it's always at full power lol<\/p>\n
It\u2019s better to keep drilling away than to run out of power, so I just keep pushing and hammering away.<\/p>\n
The hydraulic pressure in the feed line won't release, so we're trying to find another way to relieve it.<\/p>\n

To begin with, this machine was originally a TRP30, and we swapped it out for a 45-hammer model.<\/p>\n
After making various adjustments, I'm currently out on site doing the final tweaks lol.<\/p>\n
Well, some people might think you shouldn't make adjustments on-site, but actually, it's better to make them there.<\/p>\n

You can observe the situation in detail while actually operating the machine.<\/p>\n
What's good and what's bad?<\/p>\n
Is it the hammer, the feed, or the rotation?<\/p>\n
What about the pressure gauge during actual drilling?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I believe we can perform maintenance more effectively than if we did it at our in-house facility.<\/p>\n
Plus, it saves you from having to do the same thing twice.<\/p>\n
If you're going to do maintenance, there's no better place than the job site!<\/p>\n
Even the mechanics, feeling the tension on-site and driven by a sense of mission that they absolutely have to fix it, are racking their brains to figure it out lol.<\/p>\n
We all know that when we handle maintenance in-house, people tend to take it easy and say, \u201cWell, let\u2019s just try running it once and see how it goes,\u201d right?<\/p>\n
However, even while we're making adjustments, we're still managing to get a solid amount of work done, so there's no problem.<\/p>\n
And even if you stop for a little while, it\u2019s not a big deal. (It depends on the time of year.)<\/p>\n
In that case, it\u2019s definitely better to take half a day or a full day off to fix it properly and then get back to work.<\/p>\n
Doing things halfway is definitely the worst approach.<\/p>\n

I'm not saying you need to do a full service, but if you have the time, making adjustments and performing maintenance right on-site will get things back in working order much faster, don't you think?<\/p>\n
