While Drilling<\/h3>\n

Basically, with double-pipe drilling, you can\u2019t just let the drilling slurry drip all over the place (depending on the situation), so<\/p>\n

Soil is discharged from the swivel through a suction hose into a ton bag (1-metric-ton sandbag or flexi-bag).<\/p>\n

If it's too long, it might get stuck partway through, but if you use compressed air, you can blow it about 30 meters (or even farther).<\/p>\n

However, if you release water and air at high pressure, the hose may whip around, and depending on the situation, there is a real risk that it could burst.<\/p>\n

If you include these details in the work procedures manual, I think you\u2019ll be fully prepared to handle any issues that may arise.<\/p>\n

We recommend securing the section closest to the swivel as firmly as possible.<\/p>\n

We also recommend choosing a suction hose that is as lightweight as possible and resistant to friction.<\/p>\n

Our company uses Kanaflex (V.S. Kanaline A).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s generally sold in 50-meter rolls, and roughly speaking, it\u2019s priced at around 2,000 to 2,500 yen per meter.<\/p>\n

I use this hose because it's easy to handle and lightweight.<\/p>\n

Some companies use delivery hoses designed for spray application.<\/p>\n

Since the goal is the same, I think anything will do.<\/p>\n

Collecting Slimes<\/h3>\n

As was mentioned before\u2014and it caused quite a stir at the time\u2014if you want to collect slime from the end of this hose, you can do so.<\/p>\n

It might be a waste to collect Drilling Slimes.<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is up to the administrator to decide whether or not to accept it.<\/p>\n

Whether I just grab a handful at random from a big bag full of slime or take a proper scoop, no one would ever know... lol<\/p>\n
