(Qualified Simplified Invoice)<\/p>\n<p>Since only registered taxable businesses can issue such certificates, sole proprietors who are not registered taxable businesses cannot issue invoices to general contractors.<\/p>\n<p>Prime contractors who do not receive invoices from subcontractors will have to cover the consumption tax themselves, so they will stop using sole proprietors.<\/p>\n<p>However, if, conversely, the sole proprietor were to deduct that amount from their payment, the general contractor would likely agree to it, but the sole proprietor\u2019s wages would certainly be reduced.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I've found a YouTube video I highly recommend, so I'll post the link here.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"[Self-Employed Contractors] Your Income Is Sure to Drop Due to the Invoice System! You Might Be Wiped Out by a Massive Upheaval in Reiwa 5 [Independence in Jeopardy]\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zsrO8bv8kSI?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>When considering how sole proprietors and so-called \"fake\" sole proprietors manage to survive,<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 130%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u2460 Become an employee of the company (prime contractor) that is awarding the contract.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 130%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u2461 Reach Level 3 or higher in the Career Advancement System to become a taxable business.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 130%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u2462 Quit the construction industry.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>These are the only three options.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2460 That\u2019s a realistic possibility. Or rather, I suppose the government is pushing for this as well.<\/p>\n<p>The basic principle is to collect taxes from wherever possible. It\u2019s easier to collect them from corporations.<\/p>\n<p>However, whether that company will hire me is another matter.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it depends on your past relationship with the company. Just because you used to work there doesn't mean they'll hire you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2461 It\u2019s actually pretty challenging. Even if you say, \u201cIt\u2019s easy!\u201d you\u2019ll still end up having to get a bunch of certifications.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have time for that? Where's the money coming from?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2462 It doesn't matter if you quit the construction business to open a cake shop or a flower shop\u2014it's the same thing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 150%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Please be assured that all fake sole proprietors will be eliminated.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I also get the impression that general contractors require quite a bit of paperwork when placing orders with sole proprietors.<\/p>\n<p>It hasn't started yet, but there will definitely be more paperwork.<\/p>\n<p>There's an absurd amount of paperwork involved with the current foreign technical interns, and there are also periodic inspections by the employers.<\/p>\n<p>When you think about how much paperwork the government will require when hiring a sole proprietor, it becomes such a hassle that there\u2019s a very high chance the general contractor won\u2019t use one at all.<\/p>\n<p>What's more, the employee roster I wrote about earlier\u2014which is full of lies\u2014will likely be eliminated as well.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since this system brings out both the good and the bad, I don't know how things will turn out.<\/p>\n<p>Since we don\u2019t use subcontractors at all, we aren\u2019t too concerned about this, but for companies that rely 100% on subcontractors, it could be a real challenge, so I think it\u2019s best to be prepared just in case.<\/p>\n<p>This is a system that employees of the general contractor (site representatives), in particular, absolutely must be familiar with.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.
