Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

The other day, I had a meeting in Toyama Prefecture and then traveled to Azumino City in Nagano Prefecture (to visit a group company); today, I’ve been in Otsuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture since this morning, and I’m heading straight to Tokyo from here.

I've already crossed the Japanese Alps, and my butt hurts lol

It involves quite a bit of travel, but I'm grateful to have so many different things to do.

The general contractor at the job site I visited the other day said, “I’ll never use ○○ again!”

That's what he said. (He was pretty upset, lol.)

According to the general contractor, even though they ask us for instructions, they end up running around in circles following orders from their own president, which apparently causes problems on the job site.

If anything, that master craftsman listens too much to other people's opinions, and it's a total mess lol

It seems the issue is that while they want to follow the general contractor’s instructions, the president keeps butting in with his own opinions...

To be honest, it’s wrong to listen to the CEO’s opinion when he isn’t actually on the scene. (Is that what happens when you waste time consulting with him before reporting back to the company? lol)

I fully understand when the discussion is about safety concerns or how to work safely, but when it comes to on-site procedures and the chain of command, it’s standard practice to make those decisions on the spot.

Well, if it's a young director with little experience, there's not much that can be done about it, but otherwise, on-set instructions take priority.

I think it's best to just let the opinions of the company president and others who aren't on the front lines go in one ear and out the other.

Just as with other things, let's set our priorities.

First of all, whose opinion matters most?

Is this an opinion based on firsthand experience?

What do you think of the current situation?

How can we make sure things run smoothly and efficiently on-site?

With that in mind, let's decide who we'll be meeting with.

The CEO's most important job is to take responsibility when something goes wrong.

It’s not about giving daily on-site instructions.

The worst thing that can happen on a job site is to bring work to a halt, and the best thing is to finish the job quickly and safely.

See you later.
