The other day, I went to a job site.<\/p>\n
When I go to the site, there are some standard activities I do.<\/p>\n
That's right, it's KY activities.<\/p>\n

These days, there\u2019s this thing called risk assessment, where risks are quantified and estimated...<\/p>\n

So, just filling out the KY activity form for that site takes about 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
I'll write down the steps for the day...<\/p>\n
We will conduct hazard prediction by breaking down the assigned work categories into more specific categories....<\/p>\n

I just end up thinking, \"Seriously... aren't they just stupid? lol\"<\/p>\n
It\u2019s like only the foreman has to rack his brain writing it, while everyone else just goes, \u201cYeah, yeah, okay!\u201d and that\u2019s the end of it, right??<\/p>\n
I felt that this was exactly what they mean by \"an empty theory.\"<\/p>\n
It's not just that it's a hassle to fill out, but rather,Safety management should be simple.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>That's what I think.<\/p>\n Is it really necessary to write such a rambling mess\u2014to the point where even the person who wrote it doesn't remember what they wrote?<\/p>\n \"Wait, are you making me fill this out just for the Labor Standards Office in case of an accident?\"<\/p>\n That's not right, is it?<\/p>\n It's about raising awareness so that workers don't engage in unsafe behavior and can perform their work safely, right?<\/p>\n The same goes for risk assessment.<\/p>\n Just because the number went from 3 to 2, I'm like, \"Huh?\" lol<\/p>\n I can just hear someone saying, \u201cThat\u2019s the kind of thinking you get when you don\u2019t understand the true meaning of risk assessment!\u201d But don\u2019t you think more than 90% of contractors don\u2019t actually get it?<\/p>\n I bet even among admins, there aren't many who fully understand this, right??
