This is Enta.<\/p>\n
The other day, we held a company information session for students lol<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We did this in response to a request from students who are scheduled to graduate next year.<\/p>\n
Since I\u2019d never actually done anything like this before, I had absolutely no idea what to do, but I managed to put together some materials to convey our company\u2019s unique strengths and the benefits of the construction industry.<\/p>\n
One is a man, and one is a woman.<\/p>\n
We are very pleased that young people find the construction industry appealing and have expressed interest in attending our company information session.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Just like on my blog, I lay it all out there\u2014the good and the bad\u2014without holding anything back lol.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We provided explanations both in writing and via video, and then showed them the company\u2019s maintenance facilities and the crawler-type rotary percussion machine.<\/p>\n
At one point, a generator that had stalled on site (due to a clogged fuel filter) was brought back, and I ended up having to operate the crawler. (I was the only one there at the time, so I handled it by myself\u2014leaving the students to fend for themselves lol.)<\/p>\n
The students, who were seeing a large aircraft in action up close for the first time, were reportedly both surprised and thrilled lol.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I\u2019m holding out a faint hope that we might be able to take on two trainee directors\u2014one male and one female\u2014as early as next spring.<\/p>\n
I realized that we need to make an effort to increase opportunities like this at each school going forward.<\/p>\n
While experienced hires are important, new graduates are important too.<\/p>\n
Recruiting may seem like a low-key task, but doing it thoroughly helps shape the company\u2019s future.<\/p>\n
