Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

It looks like the third wave of COVID-19 is here.

Personally, I think there's just nothing we can do about this.

What do you all think?

Let's embrace this and do our very best in our economic activities!

Let's keep working hard and supporting the economy—a vaccine will be available before long, so let's hang in there until then!

But that's beside the point.

I was finally able to replace most of the hanging hardware recently.

These hanging hooks are pretty flimsy, aren't they?

I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, but if the retaining clip comes loose on-site, the product must not be used.

!["Lock"]("https://norimen.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/2017-01-27-12.35.54.jpg")

It's completely open and broken.

!["Lever]("https://norimen.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/2017-01-27-12.36.16.jpg")

Since this retaining mechanism is a lever block, it’s a bit bulky, so it doesn’t usually end up like this, but there are times when it breaks for one reason or another.

If you just replace this retaining clip, you can use it again as good as new, but sometimes the hook is actually wider than you'd expect.

Those hooks without a safety catch—which used to be pretty common—are absolutely out of the question these days, right?

On the contrary, I’m wondering, “Why on earth is that even being sold??” But is private construction even allowed??

I replaced the hanging hardware in my house with this one.

!["Swivel]("https://norimen.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/2017-01-27-12.33.58.jpg")

This is a Martech swivel hook.

About 90% of it is this, isn't it?

!["Swivel]("https://norimen.net/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/2017-01-27-12.37.58.jpg")

I hang it from two points and use it with a loop attached.

Since the 4-point version is hard to use, I recommend the 2-point version.

The great thing about this Martech swivel hook is that it has a locking mechanism, so it’s virtually guaranteed not to come loose while it’s suspended.

Even if it were to be buffeted by strong winds (hoisting operations are not permitted in strong winds), I don't think it would come loose.

I think this is such a great product that I can’t help but think, “The person who came up with this is a true genius!”

It's also sold on Amazon, but it costs around 6,000 yen at Zojirushi.

Without the swivel, it's about 3,000 yen.

It is 1.5 to 2 times higher than a standard hook.

At Martech, the list price is around 12,000 yen lol

You're probably thinking, "I can't spend that much money on a hook," lol.

That's actually true, but based on my experience, I think they end up being more cost-effective because they last longer and are less likely to break than regular hooks.

And actually,It's selling for a super low price on Yahoo! AuctionsThat's right!!

Sometimes, this Martex swivel hook is sold for just under 3,000 yen each.

If you can buy one for around 3,000 yen, it’s a much better deal than buying a regular hook, and it’s more durable.

It has a swivel, so the wire won't get tangled.

I think this product offers both safety and cost-effectiveness.

After all, we live in an age where safety is a requirement even for a single tool we use.

I want to take whatever precautions I can before an accident happens.

See you later.

Hello, everyone.
