I know I should work during my lunch break, but I\u2019m just so sleepy that I end up sleeping until 1:00 p.m.\u2014don\u2019t you kind of feel guilty about that?<\/p>\n

Research has shown that a 1.5-hour nap at noon can be just as effective as a full night\u2019s sleep.<\/p>\n

So let's make the most of REM and non-REM sleep!<\/p>\n
REM sleep occurs shortly after you fall asleep, and about 30 minutes later, you enter non-REM sleep (a deep sleep state).<\/p>\n
