I think I've put a lot of effort into improving this.<\/p>\n
Slightly reducing the water-to-cement ratio, adding fibers, adding admixtures, inserting steel spacers, spraying water, or using a forced-action mixer.<\/p>\n
I've done just about everything there is to do.<\/p>\n
However, there\u2019s hardly any method that can be called \u201cthe best\u201d so far.<\/p>\n

I have been asked about this issue time and time again by inspectors, the general contractor, employees of the general contractor, and the subcontractor.<\/p>\n
However, almost everything I've tried has been a failure.<\/p>\n
I say \"almost\" because there have been a few times when I actually got pretty close, lol.<\/p>\n

However,The bottom line is: the crack will definitely form!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n We will accurately communicate this information to the inspectors, the general contractor, and the subcontractors.<\/p>\n There will definitely be cracks.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n However, we are doing everything we can to prevent that from happening.<\/p>\n That's what I try to say.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Please don't even think about telling a half-truth here just to make a good impression on the inspector.<\/p>\n Inspectors are professionals, too.<\/p>\n I'm testing the agent's abilities. (I'm being a bit mean, lol.)<\/p>\n Of course I know that. I know it's going to crack.<\/p>\n It\u2019s mostly the younger staff members who are particular about these things, but I guess that can\u2019t be helped\u2026 (We\u2019ll just have to talk it over.)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To begin with, there\u2019s a reason why the small-cross-section concrete products we produce\u2014such as on-site sprayed formwork and sprayed concrete\u2014are prone to cracking.<\/p>\n To put it simply, I'm easily influenced by my surroundings.<\/p>\n For example, moisture in the soil or moisture in the air. A place where the wind blew during the cool morning hours versus a place where it blew during the sweltering heat of the afternoon.<\/p>\n It's clear that the water content, evaporation rate, and duration of effect are all different, right?<\/p>\n The surrounding environment always has a huge impact.<\/p>\n You might think, \u201cA 500-frame structure is huge, isn\u2019t it?\u201d but take a look at any concrete structure around you.<\/p>\n There are a ton of massive columns, right? And even though they\u2019re carefully protected with plywood and unveiled as if they were in a box, the concrete structures on our slope are left out in the open until they harden, lol.<\/p>\n Well, there's a very high chance it'll crack, isn't there?<\/p>\n They're treated differently, lol<\/p>\n It's important to recover as honestly as possible.<\/p>\n Since there's no way to stop things from getting in, I guess the only option is to make a V-cut and apply resin caulk.<\/p>\n Even if you apply mortar on top, it\u2019s only a matter of time before it cracks and falls off, so I think using caulk or something similar would be better\u2014but it stands out at first glance, so it looks pretty unsightly...<\/p>\n This is another tricky part.<\/p>\n Is there no caulk that matches the color of cured concrete??<\/p>\n It looks like it'll sell well as a replacement part, lol.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
