The thunder and clouds were so incredible that I couldn't help but take a picture\u2014it looked like Bahamut was about to appear!!<\/p>\n

There are just some designs that are just plain weird, aren't there?<\/p>\n
For example,<\/p>\n

There are so many situations like this.<\/p>\n
Site supervisors need to handle design changes without halting construction, but this can be quite challenging at times.<\/p>\n
The most challenging cases are, of course, those involving government officials. I\u2019ll give a rough overview.<\/p>\n
1. The Apathetic Type<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n This is the hardest part.<\/p>\n Slow to respond, ignores meeting minutes, doesn't keep their boss in the loop\u2014and yet, surprisingly, they have a strong desire for attention.<\/p>\n And I don't understand\u2014or can't understand\u2014why the change is necessary.<\/p>\n Because they\u2019re so focused on keeping costs down, they absolutely fail to see what\u2019s actually necessary for the construction.<\/p>\n 2. The Stubborn Type<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n This pattern is a bit of a headache, too.<\/p>\n It's just no good\u2014for no reason at all. It's just no good. We can't have a constructive conversation.<\/p>\n There are some people who won't be satisfied unless everything is exactly as shown in the blueprints.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. Defensive Type<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n We can communicate well, and they understand me.<\/p>\n However, the process requires an enormous amount of work to prepare materials ranging from previous meeting minutes to the finer details of the agreement.<\/p>\n For people like this, as long as they prepare the necessary supporting documents, their credibility will improve, so it\u2019s actually the easier option in the end.<\/p>\n There will be quite a lot of paperwork, so it\u2019s moderately challenging. My own defense (theoretical preparation) is flawless.<\/p>\n As a result, people like this tend to rise to positions of authority.<\/p>\n A minimum amount of documentation and supporting evidence is required. However, this alone is not enough toMountains don't move.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Past project examples from that area can also be helpful.<\/p>\n Explanations in the drawings regarding how this element works, or justification in the design calculations when changes are made.<\/p>\n In some cases, you may also need cost estimates, quantity calculations, revised drawings, and construction schedules when making changes.<\/p>\n We create all the materials, develop a logical structure, and craft the narrative.<\/p>\n You discuss this with the relevant government official, who will then pass it on to someone with approval authority, such as a section chief.<\/p>\n The story leading up to the design change is extremely important<\/strong><\/span>That's it.<\/p>\n Design changes are impossible without a story.<\/p>\n Everything is consistent and makes sense<\/strong><\/span>That's what matters.<\/p>\n Since that is part of the government agency\u2019s job, it\u2019s important to show a willingness to compromise while understanding that reality.<\/p>\n It happens sometimes.
