At your company,<\/p>\n

Is it a good company?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Is it a bad company?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019d like to consider this from the perspective of the branch where I used to work. (Based on how I felt at the time.)<\/p>\n

Pros<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Major companies<\/p>\n

2. Stability<\/p>\n

3. Lots of classmates<\/p>\n

4. It\u2019s easier to reach an agreement with subcontractors<\/p>\n

5. You don't have to worry about money (especially if you're a salaried worker)<\/p>\n

6. It's easier to get approved for a personal loan<\/p>\n

7. I could get approved by consumer finance companies right away (back when I was young, lol)<\/p>\n

8. Receives a certain degree of recognition from those around them (by chance)<\/p>\n

9. It is perceived as the company's official position, making it easier to get the opinion accepted externally.<\/p>\n

10. Social Trust<\/p>\n

11. There is a field allowance<\/p>\n

12. There is a generous paid leave policy<\/p>\n

13. There were times when I got a huge bonus.<\/p>\n

14. The company will help me get my certification.<\/p>\n

15. Skipping work and taking it easy at the field office<\/p>\n

16. Pretending to be busy at work while actually taking it easy<\/p>\n

17. Large-scale projects<\/p>\n

18. Capable of handling large-scale projects<\/p>\n

Cons<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. There are job transfers.<\/p>\n

2. There are secondments. (Parent company)<\/p>\n

3. Low pay (especially for young people)<\/p>\n

4. There is a lot of unnecessary paperwork<\/p>\n

5. Working Long Hours<\/p>\n

6. Visit 2 to 3 job sites<\/p>\n

7. In the worst-case scenario, I\u2019ll also supervise my junior\u2019s work on-site.<\/p>\n

8. They won't buy utility software or the like<\/p>\n

9. Slow approval process<\/p>\n

10. The meeting was way too long, yet it was just a report on the field's profits.<\/p>\n

11. I don't have time to use my paid time off<\/p>\n

12. No bonuses (during a severe recession)<\/p>\n

13. \"Come to the office!\" (Pretty standard, huh? lol)<\/p>\n

14. It's tough juggling several small jobs that each pay less than 10 million.<\/p>\n

15. I have to clean up after my uncle<\/p>\n

16. Electronic submissions and CAD projects are concentrated on a single person<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It actually turned out surprisingly well when I kept raising it like this, lol.<\/p>\n

Back when I worked at a branch office. (I hear it\u2019s even better now!)<\/p>\n

When I start writing, I tend to focus only on the good points.<\/p>\n

But back then, I thought it was a crappy company, lol.<\/p>\n

Now that I've stepped back and thought about it, it's not so bad.<\/p>\n

I think it was a good company to begin with.<\/p>\n

In fact, if you look at major companies, there are many good ones.<\/p>\n

No matter how much people say it's \"black\" or whatever, once you're actually out there, I think it's a really fortunate situation.<\/p>\n

There's also some resentment and jealousy from people who can't get in, lol.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Some of you may actually be working at a truly exploitative company. (If that\u2019s the case, please quit as soon as possible and move on.)<\/p>\n

Take a step back and try writing down the pros and cons of the company you work for.<\/p>\n

You might discover something unexpected.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Taking that step back is important\u2014it allows you to look at yourself objectively while you\u2019re still at that company.<\/p>\n

What do you think?<\/p>\n

Whether something is good or bad is mostly a matter of personal opinion, isn't it?<\/p>\n

It's a bad company because something is making me feel bad right now.<\/p>\n

It's a bad company because I don't like its rules.<\/p>\n

It's a good company\u2014as long as it suits me.<\/p>\n

In other words, a company is a good one if it works out well for me, and a bad one if it doesn't.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I think that's fine.<\/p>\n

The only yardstick for everything in the world is one\u2019s own way of thinking. (I think it depends on the environment you\u2019ve lived in and what you\u2019ve learned.)<\/p>\n

This is how you join a company, and this is how you leave one.<\/p>\n

\"Choose\"<\/p>\n

That\u2019s actually the right way to judge whether a company is good or bad.<\/p>\n

What matters is how it affects me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

That said, there are almost no companies that are perfect for me, though.<\/p>\n

I used to wonder if that\u2019s what would happen if I started my own business, but in reality, it\u2019s turned out to be a company that works well for my employees, for me, and for society as a whole\u2014though there are also some downsides.<\/p>\n

It means they're two sides of the same coin.<\/p>\n

There are both good and bad sides to it.<\/p>\n

It's a good company as long as it's well-balanced.<\/p>\n

Come to think of it, there are a lot of great companies among the major corporations, aren't there?<\/p>\n
