We do tend to tell lies that suit us, don't we?<\/p>\n

So, I\u2019m going to introduce you to the kind of person you should definitely not hire lol<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve actually written about something like this before, lol.<\/p>\n

1. I can't look them in the eye<\/p>\n
2. Telling lies without a second thought (spotting contradictions)<\/p>\n
3. When I ask, \u201cCan you do this kind of work?\u201d they say, \u201cYes! I can!\u201d<\/p>\n

Explanation<\/p>\n
1. If someone can't make eye contact, it's likely that they have poor communication skills.<\/p>\n
If you didn't bring it up yourself and aren't good at it, but you don't say so, it will cause problems later on.<\/p>\n
These days, if you\u2019re even a little strict, people call it workplace harassment, lol.<\/p>\n
It's the same in the construction industry.<\/p>\n

2. I don't like being tested, but while people who are sharp enough to point out contradictions are still okay, those who go with the flow and lie are dangerous.<\/p>\n
Even with a simple lie like this, the important thing is that people like that lie as naturally as they breathe.<\/p>\n
It's disappointing, but something like that happened again recently.<\/p>\n
Well, I\u2019m the type who gets fooled pretty easily, so I used to fall for it all the time, but I\u2019ve grown up a bit lately lol.<\/p>\n
I've gotten to the point where I can tell just by experience, haven't I?<\/p>\n
This area seems very dangerous, so please be very careful.<\/p>\n

3. People who say they can do it right away are also dangerous.<\/p>\n
This is also very important: it\u2019s risky to say \u201cI can do it\u201d right away when you have no experience.<\/p>\n
I'm overestimating myself.<\/p>\n
And when they can't do it, they tend to make up strange excuses or blame others.<\/p>\n
Be careful with this type of person\u2014they\u2019ll immediately start threatening to go to the Labor Standards Office. (I\u2019ve been there.)<\/p>\n
In situations like this, a response like, \u201cLet me think about it for a moment, and I\u2019ll do my best to make it happen,\u201d is perfectly fine.<\/p>\n
People hesitate for a moment when doing something for the first time. That's normal.<\/p>\n

But still, how should I put it... People who are full of lies are really the worst.<\/p>\n
I can't trust them; I can't build a relationship of trust with them.<\/p>\n

And then, just to be trusted, they tell another lie.<\/p>\n
