Last Saturday night, I went to see a New Japan Pro-Wrestling match at the Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium lol<\/p>\n

I'm actually part of the New Japan generation!<\/p>\n
By the time I was old enough to remember things in elementary school, Baba and Inoki were still active and fighting in the ring.<\/p>\n
My late grandmother loved it too, and I think that\u2019s why I came to like it.<\/p>\n
I seem to recall that back then, it used to air on Saturday evenings in Kagoshima, Kyushu.<\/p>\n

I think a lot of people don't know this, but pro wrestling is actually really fun.<\/p>\n
You'll definitely get hooked, especially if you see it live on-site.<\/p>\n
Especially men!<\/p>\n
Pro wrestling may look like a combat sport, but it actually has a well-developed script and storyline.<\/p>\n
They express that through flashy staging, the sound of bodies colliding, and voices.<\/p>\n

In a way, it\u2019s like a scenario where I grew up right in the middle of my \u201cmiddle school syndrome\u201d phase as a kid and have just been prolonging that phase into adulthood, lol.<\/p>\n
That's why men get hooked!<\/p>\n
There's fighting, friendship, betrayal, and then they come together again.<\/p>\n
You don't come across entertainment this fun very often! lol<\/p>\n

And while there are violent elements, the technique is actually designed to produce a sound similar to a kick\u2014using a striking method that generates as loud a sound as possible while minimizing pain as much as possible.<\/p>\n
New wrestlers aren't very good at that, so that's part of the fun, lol.<\/p>\n
And since they train to avoid injuries as much as possible, you can watch them with peace of mind.<\/p>\n
You don't see any pro wrestlers with their faces all bruised and battered, do you?<\/p>\n
There aren't any bruises on your body at all, are there?<\/p>\n
