This is Enta.<\/p>\n
Starting with this post, I\u2019d like to write about fraudulent construction practices related to slope stabilization work.<\/p>\n
These include past cases, how to detect fraud, how to verify it, and the typical characteristics of such businesses.<\/p>\n

First,In this article, we\u2019ll explore why construction companies engage in substandard work.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Let's think about that.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Please look at the figure above.<\/p>\n It's called an irregular triangle.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n To explain this simply in terms of our work as slope engineers (in the construction industry):<\/p>\n Motivation: Contract Amount, Wages<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Opportunity: One\u2019s position, circumstances, and job responsibilities at the time<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Justification: Expertise; reasons based on construction conditions<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n It looks something like this.<\/p>\n Since they don't have much money, they resort to quick and easy fraud\u2014doing it in ways that aren't obvious\u2014just to make a little extra profit.<\/p>\n Furthermore, since this type of misconduct tends to become routine, if a vendor has engaged in such behavior even once, it is highly likely that they are doing so on a regular basis.<\/p>\n That's because we're all subject to the \"normalcy bias\"\u2014the belief that \"it won't happen to us.\"<\/p>\n This is why people who commit crimes keep reoffending.<\/p>\n So, if the company itself is that kind of company, or if its representative is on that side, there is a very real possibility of fraud.<\/p>\n As a general rule, I don\u2019t use companies like that! The basic premise is not to use subcontractors like that, but these days, it\u2019s hard for a layperson to tell which companies are front companies.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n From that perspective, it\u2019s generally safer to avoid contractors who claim to be the cheapest\u2014or who say they\u2019ll do the work cheaper than anyone else.<\/p>\n If you use a subcontractor improperly and get caught for fraud, it would be a disaster!<\/p>\n That's absolutely terrifying! (Could I even end up getting threatened?)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Conversely, even if prices are high, any misconduct on the part of a business may be limited to a few employees at that company.<\/p>\n I suppose the reason for that is money, too.<\/p>\n The most obvious reason is that the wages paid are low.<\/p>\n Generally speaking, people like that only work for their own benefit, so they don\u2019t bat an eye at shoddy workmanship.<\/p>\n Since they only have the simplistic mindset of \u201cIf I get caught, I\u2019ll just quit,\u201d they think only about how to make their work as dishonest and easy as possible\u2014without taking any responsibility.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n However, it is impossible to eliminate all of them.<\/p>\n That is precisely why construction managers need to keep a close eye on those areas as well.<\/p>\n It is also important to identify which types of work are most prone to fraud.<\/p>\n It's important to know where you're most likely to cut corners.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I especially want young site supervisors to know this.<\/p>\n By doing so, we can ensure that construction is carried out properly and without fraud, and I hope that by preventing a very small number of contractors from engaging in fraudulent practices, we can help improve this situation\u2014specifically, the culture of fraud\u2014even if only slightly.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Next time, I'll write about the different types of fraud by trade!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
