In my blog post the other day, I said I was planning to post a video of an experiment today, but when I really thought about it, I realized I usually write the actual post the day before.<\/p>\n
That's why it's impossible to write about what happened today on the same day.<\/p>\n
Maybe tomorrow~ (probably lol)<\/p>\n
But that's beside the point.<\/p>\n

A frame that has been smoothed with a trowel and looks shiny, and a frame that has been left as-is without being smoothed with a trowel.<\/p>\n
Which one do you think is stronger?<\/p>\n
Have you ever been asked that question, or have you ever heard it?<\/p>\n

This one doesn't have a bevel. (Though I did cut it once and apply a finish coat.)<\/p>\n
When you line these two up like this, how does the strength compare?<\/p>\n

I was once taught that a design without a rib is stronger.<\/p>\n
I remember thinking, \u201cOh, that makes sense!\u201d when I heard the reason back then. (At the time)<\/p>\n
When you apply the iron, moisture rises to that area.<\/p>\n
The reason given was that even a slight increase in the water-to-cement ratio in that area would reduce the surface strength.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, since the side without the trowel essentially remains untouched, its surface area is greater than that of the side with the trowel, and the water-to-cement ratio remains constant.<\/p>\n
I thought, \"Oh, that makes sense!\" about both reasons.<\/p>\n

However, these reasons areAnoretical speculation<\/span><\/strong><\/span>What's up! lol<\/p>\n The reason is that I don't think I've ever tried it.<\/p>\n Has anyone measured its strength?<\/p>\n This is, after all, just a prediction, so,<\/p>\n Even if we were to extract a core sample there and conduct a compressive strength test, we wouldn't be able to collect enough data to draw statistical conclusions.<\/p>\n Besides, there\u2019s no way I can take the exam without a file, so I\u2019ll polish both sides.<\/p>\n So that's just speculation, after all.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If it ever came to that, I wonder if both answers would be equally correct.<\/p>\n The answer was, surprisingly, \"Because there's no way to find out,\" lol.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If we were to quantify that, it would probably become a technical matter, but as things stand, it doesn't really matter.<\/p>\n It's just a matter of whether or not I'll get paid for the iron, isn't it?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n See you later.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello, everyone.
