That said, the world is in a complete mess because of the novel coronavirus.<\/p>\n
There are no orientation ceremonies or similar events, and I\u2019ve heard that, depending on the circumstances, some people may have their job offers rescinded during this time.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the worst recession\u2014or maybe I should say situation\u2014that I\u2019ve ever seen...<\/p>\n
There is a very real possibility that the number of people leaving their jobs will increase sharply in the near future.<\/p>\n
And once that happens, it\u2019s only natural that we in the construction industry will also be affected.<\/p>\n
That's a thief.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The number of thieves is increasing because people want money for tomorrow.<\/p>\n In the construction industry, they just plop expensive equipment right there.<\/p>\n We have one at our house, too.<\/p>\n A 4-million generator! A 2-million compressor!!<\/p>\n A spray machine for 5 million! A drilling machine for 20 million!!!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It's just sitting there at the worksite, lol.<\/p>\n Well, since this is an industry where 2-ton and 3-ton trucks are commonplace, they don't get stolen very often, but relatively light items do get stolen.<\/p>\n For example, pressure washers, small generators, and submersible pumps.<\/p>\n A thick 60sq cap tire (we had one of these stolen by an internal thief in the past.)<\/p>\n Impact wrench (this was also stolen by an internal thief, lol)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Items that are easy to steal and easy to sell are snatched up in a flash.<\/p>\n That said, it\u2019s fine if the worksite has cameras installed, but most companies don\u2019t...<\/p>\n The only way to deal with this is to make it look like you're taking measures.<\/p>\n Things like installing solar-powered motion-sensor lights or covering it with a blue tarp,<\/p>\n How about attaching bells to the rope used to secure the blue tarp in a few places so it makes a sound?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n That's the kind of extra effort that's needed.<\/p>\n I kind of feel like it would be better if it were a Japanese theft ring. (Not that it\u2019s okay, though.)<\/p>\n That's because foreign theft rings will ruthlessly take everything, leaving nothing behind.<\/p>\n And in a pretty rough way, at that.<\/p>\n I've also heard that, in the worst-case scenario, all sorts of things could get destroyed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Let's be especially careful from now on.<\/p>\n The number of thefts is on the rise.<\/p>\n It was the same during the Lehman crisis!<\/p>\n I think it will increase in the same way this time as well.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Let's cover it up properly so it won't be noticeable.<\/p>\n It's frustrating, but we have no choice but to take measures.<\/p>\n However, if it's something you can take home, you should probably take it home.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Also, if an item is stolen, there\u2019s a good chance that small items will be listed on Yahoo! Auctions or Mercari.<\/p>\n Therefore, please make sure to clearly identify your own aircraft.<\/p>\n At our house, we put stickers and secret marks in places like this\u2014both where you can see them and where you can\u2019t.<\/p>\n It's easy to find them if they're listed online. (It's usually secondhand shops that take high-quality photos.)<\/p>\n Since thieves want to turn the items into cash quickly, they\u2019ll likely sell them to a nearby secondhand store, so giving them a call is a good idea.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If I find one on Yahoo! Auctions or at a secondhand store, I'll contact the police immediately.<\/p>\n Unfortunately, we can't take it in right away.
