In July Heisei 30, a law partially amending the Health Promotion Act was enacted, and<\/p>\n

It will go into full effect on April 1, Reiwa 2, next month!!<\/p>\n

It's changing from etiquette to rules!<\/p>\n

\"Smoking\"<\/p>\n

Even when posting job openings at Hello Work, we are required to have a smoking room on our premises, and we are asked whether we have one.<\/p>\n

You can't do without it!<\/p>\n

Does your company have a smoke-free room or similar facility?<\/p>\n

It seems like I can't do without it!<\/p>\n

Regulations on smoking are only going to get stricter from here on out, so if you can quit, you should.<\/p>\n

If you can't stop it, just accept it without complaining.<\/p>\n

And conditions on the job site will likely become even tougher.<\/p>\n

The rule is that you're not supposed to smoke on the job site.<\/p>\n

Well, if the general contractor was smoking, then I guess it\u2019s probably okay to smoke on that job site, but generally speaking, it\u2019s not allowed.<\/p>\n

However, I suppose we\u2019ll need ashtrays, fire extinguishers, and smoking rooms there in the future. (Legally speaking)<\/p>\n

We'll likely see manufacturers start producing such devices for use in the field.<\/p>\n

Since this year is the year the regulations go into effect, the safety departments at all the major general contractors are probably going to be working their butts off, huh? lol<\/p>\n

It's obvious that things are going to get really tough for smokers from now on, so,<\/p>\n

Even if you can't stop it completely, you still need to make an effort to at least minimize it.<\/p>\n

By the way, I've already stopped doing that lol<\/p>\n
