I'll be wrapping up work for the year this morning.<\/p>\n
What kind of year was this for all of you?<\/p>\n
It was another great year for me lol<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We're not having a year-end party, so we're working until today.<\/p>\n
Instead, I'll pay you in cash lol (in person)<\/p>\n
Cash payments will be made to both Japanese and Vietnamese nationals.<\/p>\n
If you want to use that money for a year-end party, go ahead; if you don't, that's fine too.<\/p>\n
I think we\u2019re living in an era where it\u2019s perfectly fine not to have year-end parties these days.<\/p>\n
I'd rather everyone just figure things out on their own than go out of their way to get together for drinks.<\/p>\n

Is keeping in touch via daily phone calls and LINE enough? lol<\/p>\n
This is our first attempt at this this year, but we\u2019ll see what everyone thinks\u2014the results will come out eventually.<\/p>\n

I don't really have many good memories of company year-end parties in the past.<\/p>\n
When I was younger, my boss in the sales department at my company would constantly nag me and nitpick every little thing I did\u2014it\u2019s a bad memory.<\/p>\n
That sales guy was always like that with everyone, though lol<\/p>\n
I used to think company drinking parties were a waste of time.<\/p>\n

And then, in the second half, subcontractors appeared out of nowhere, while the bosses disappeared...<\/p>\n
I was thinking, \"What on earth is this??\"<\/p>\n
Well, I suppose there are still people like that today.<\/p>\n
I can't help but think, \"Isn't it weird to have a year-end party where everyone just sucks up to the general contractor?\"<\/p>\n
We're supposed to coexist and prosper together. As it says in the special notes, Party A and Party B are on equal footing, lol.<\/p>\n
It's kind of cringy to see a general contractor's president getting cheered on by his subcontractors, lol.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I've come to the conclusion that year-end parties and the like are a thing of the past.<\/p>\n
I think it\u2019s fine to go out for drinks whenever you have free time.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Let's work safely and diligently through today, and starting tomorrow, it's the New Year's holiday.<\/p>\n
Enta will be closed from this afternoon through January 5, Reiwa 2.<\/p>\n
Work officially starts on the 6th, but I'll actually start working on the 7th.<\/p>\n
I hope you all enjoy your New Year's break.<\/p>\n
