{"id":39597,"date":"2019-07-24T08:00:06","date_gmt":"2019-07-23T23:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/?p=39597"},"modified":"2026-05-17T13:53:30","modified_gmt":"2026-05-17T04:53:30","slug":"bolt-scale-vs-anchor-scale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/norimen.net\/en\/bolt-scale-vs-anchor-scale\/","title":{"rendered":"The Difference Between Bolt Scales and Anchor Scales | How to Use Them Appropriately"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, everyone.<\/p>\n<p>This is Enta.<\/p>\n<p>The other day, while looking through some old management data, I came across this lol<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-39598\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/R0010569-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"Positioning Error Measurement\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/R0010569.jpg 600w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/R0010569-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That brings back memories.<\/p>\n<p>If you're wondering what this photo is of, it's a measurement of alignment errors, lol.<\/p>\n<p>This is how we used to do it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mark the center of the frame with a red line on the corner washer.<\/p>\n<p>This assumes that once the square washer is installed and the spherical washer is tightened, the rebar is definitely centered within the square washer!<\/p>\n<p>Then, we measure the distance from the red line to the upper-right corner of the square washer\u2014using that corner as the zero point\u2014to determine the displacement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Well, I suppose there are plenty of ways to do it, but these days, instead of going through all that trouble with such a complicated process, you can just use a bolt scale and get it done in one go.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3225\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/o0540046013565419445.jpg\" alt=\"Bolt Scale\" width=\"540\" height=\"460\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So, this is fine as it is, but,<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 150%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Bolt Scale<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u3068<span style=\"font-size: 150%;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Anchor Scale<\/span><\/strong><\/span>It seems some people get this wrong.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If I had to point out a difference, it would be the size and shape of the scale plates.<\/p>\n<p>The standard bolt scale plate is 200.
