I really hate this pressure plate lol<\/p>\n

I mean, the edges tend to chip, don't they?<\/p>\n
Well, something a little thicker like in the photo is still okay, but if it\u2019s thinner and larger than this...<\/p>\n
I've broken about five of them so far, lol.<\/p>\n
That's because it's just a few centimeters at the edge. If it warps, it'll crack! The surface will crack cleanly, too!<\/p>\n

The most important thing with this product is to ensure that it is not subjected to any uneven or asymmetrical loads.<\/p>\n
It's really tough when the back of the pressure plate is in bad shape.<\/p>\n
Sometimes we use a zabuton frame and insert PVC-based foam or similar material into it to adjust the fit.<\/p>\n
After all, it\u2019s very sensitive when it comes to leveling.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
When I think about it, it\u2019s a relief that I don\u2019t have to worry too much about the steel pressure plate.<\/p>\n

If the back of the pressure plate is soft, it will conform nicely, as shown in the photo.<\/p>\n
In the case of PC bearing plates, if there is variation in the strength of the ground bearing capacity, the plates may become skewed.<\/p>\n
If it becomes crooked, you'll need to remove the pressure plate and adjust it by shaving down the back or similar means.<\/p>\n
If it's made of steel, it actually adapts quite easily. It's okay even if it warps slightly. (We're talking a few millimeters here.)<\/p>\n

Ultimately, the appearance of the pressure plate is very important.<\/p>\n
It becomes important to ensure that it is pointing firmly in a specific direction.<\/p>\n
Also, doing so keeps the headcap facing the same direction, which makes it look very neat.<\/p>\n
