Hello, everyone.<\/p>\n

This is Enta.<\/p>\n

We've entered Day 7 of the Vietnam series lol (I'm already back home)<\/p>\n

I went!<\/p>\n

The Annual Home Visits!!<\/p>\n

To be honest, I'm really looking forward to this home visit.<\/p>\n

Meeting the parents of the children who come to our center really boosts my motivation and sense of responsibility.<\/p>\n

Plus, since there are so many super rural areas, I can't wait to explore them!<\/p>\n

And this time, at that guy\u2019s request, we decided to have lunch together.<\/p>\n

\"Home<\/p>\n

It's a very impressive house.<\/p>\n

The living area is on the second floor.<\/p>\n

It seems that people started living up high because, in the past, there was a risk of being attacked by wild animals.<\/p>\n

What's more, the intern appears to be from an ethnic minority and apparently speaks a language other than Vietnamese,<\/p>\n

The interpreter said he didn't understand a word of the ethnic group's language.<\/p>\n

That's interesting.<\/p>\n

Do you think I'd actually speak the Kagoshima dialect? lol<\/p>\n

I have a classmate named Ide (that's his nickname)\u2014he works as a site representative for a general contractor\u2014and his Kagoshima dialect is terrible lol.<\/p>\n

I don't think the young people there would understand what I'm saying, lol (I'm an old guy, so I get half of it!)<\/p>\n

Apparently, the villages in this area are famous for tea, and they\u2019re said to be similar to places like Shizuoka or Kagoshima in Japan.<\/p>\n

\"Tea\"<\/p>\n

It was delicious.<\/p>\n

It tasted pretty much the same as Japanese tea.<\/p>\n

\"Cooking\"<\/p>\n

The intern's mom was simmering some vegetables lol<\/p>\n

\"Vietnamese<\/p>\n

That's the kind of hospitality I received.<\/p>\n

Speaking of chicken, the chicken here in Vietnam is tough! Apparently, they like their meat tough.<\/p>\n

Apparently, they don't like tender meat like the kind in Japan, so the trainees seem to be looking for tough meat here in Japan lol<\/p>\n

Goya and some kind of vegetable that resembles offal. Then there's chicken.<\/p>\n

The food is generally lightly seasoned, and apparently you\u2019re supposed to add your own seasonings\u2014there was something like yuzu pepper that was absolutely delicious!<\/p>\n

I heard the soup is made from the broth left over from simmering vegetables, and I enjoyed it with just a little salt added.<\/p>\n

It might be a little too bland for Japanese people.<\/p>\n

\"Doburoku\"<\/p>\n

The problem is this sake.<\/p>\n

A hellish system where you repeatedly toast with homemade sake over 40 degrees and chug it all in one go!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

That was definitely a bit much for the middle of the day, lol.<\/p>\n

Since we were having so many drinks, I told them, \u201cI have to go home sometime today, so please cut me some slack,\u201d lol.<\/p>\n

It seems to be a system where you place the bones on an aluminum tray, so I've put them next to the sake!<\/p>\n

After dinner, I was shown around the house where I used to live.<\/p>\n
