Hello, everyone.<\/p>\n

This is Enta.<\/p>\n

From the recent job interview to a home visit!<\/p>\n

I'll write about home visits in another post.<\/p>\n

Today is the hellish job interview.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Technical Intern Trainees have to compete against a large number of applicants just to make it to the hiring exam. (Is this just our union?)<\/p>\n

I don't know about other agencies, but I've heard that the agency we use receives about 25 applications for a position requiring three people per company.<\/p>\n

It seems to depend on the time of year, but sometimes the number can reach about 50 people...<\/p>\n

The recruitment process begins with a document screening prior to the employment exam.<\/p>\n

After that, they will stay at a Japanese language school for about a week to take tests assessing their memory, learning ability, math skills, and the Kraepelin test.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As a result, candidates make it to the hiring exam, but the competition ratio appears to be around 10 to 15 to 1.<\/p>\n

Since the competition for these positions is incredibly fierce, we\u2019re taking the hiring process very seriously as well.<\/p>\n

However, I do need to cut someone, so in the end, I\u2019m really torn. (The third and fourth spots in the three-person roster are neck and neck.)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, in the end, it really comes down to patience.<\/p>\n

Can you endure difficult circumstances?<\/p>\n

There are plenty of tough moments at work, aren't there?<\/p>\n

The solution lies within your own heart.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Actually, I wouldn't make you work that hard, lol (It's important to enjoy your work.)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is our exam.<\/p>\n

1. Bicep Curls Using Sandbags<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Push-ups<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Plank<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4. Air Chair<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Use sandbags to sap their arm strength!<\/p>\n

\"Sandbag<\/p>\n

Have them do bicep curls while holding sandbags in both hands.<\/p>\n

Ideally, about 20 times, but even the best can only manage about 15.<\/p>\n

I could only do it 13 times, too.<\/p>\n

This workout usually leaves my arms totally sore.<\/p>\n

Measure it twice. Push yourself even further until you're completely spent.<\/p>\n

\"Push-ups\"<\/p>\n

Next up: Push-ups<\/p>\n

We'll have them do this as much as possible.<\/p>\n

It's that \"one more time! One more time!!!\" moment when you've reached your limit.<\/p>\n

At this point, their arms are practically bursting, and they're staggering.<\/p>\n

Even at this stage, there are still some children who refuse to do the final repetition, while others are determined to do it no matter what.<\/p>\n

Which child would you hire?<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

People who give it their all\u2014even if only for this very moment\u2014are able to keep up their efforts over time.<\/p>\n

But people who try to slack off are always slacking off, aren't they?<\/p>\n

\"Plank<\/p>\n

It's a 3-minute plank.<\/p>\n

This is really tough if you don't usually do physical training.<\/p>\n

Please give it a try for three minutes.<\/p>\n

I'll figure it out somehow lol<\/p>\n

More than half give up within a minute.<\/p>\n

There aren't even three people left with two minutes remaining.<\/p>\n

So, no one was able to do it in 3 minutes this time. (It was just a few seconds short, though.)<\/p>\n

\"Air<\/p>\n

Last but not least, the \"air chair.\"<\/p>\n

This is actually kind of tough, lol.<\/p>\n

Kids who are confident in their upper body strength will breeze through the above. (There are quite a few who like to show off their arm strength.)<\/p>\n

However, few people work out their thighs.<\/p>\n

So, this is the exam.<\/p>\n

There's no time limit. They're worried about whether they'll make it through, but that's not actually the case.<\/p>\n

Here, too, we place a high value on the determination to do one\u2019s best, even when you\u2019re trembling.<\/p>\n

Some kids give it their all, while others keep a cool demeanor but give up right away.<\/p>\n

It's great that these kinds of training tests tend to show individual differences.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There are some kids who make you think right away, \u201cThis one seems like a good kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, even when something seems promising, I tend to give up on it.<\/p>\n

Kids like that will improve with the right guidance, but as a company, we can\u2019t afford to put that much effort into it.<\/p>\n

Since they need to reach a certain level within about half a year, there\u2019s no denying that they end up becoming well-rounded children overall.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In our case, some trainees are able to handle the nozzle after just two months on the job, while others reach the point where we\u2019re thinking about letting them start operating the machine after four months.<\/p>\n

The kids who take the initiative really go for it, and the kids in supporting roles help them out.<\/p>\n

Since we're one team, it comes down to our overall strength (teamwork) rather than individual ability.<\/p>\n

And thenWe were able to hire another excellent candidate this time as well.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
