This is Enta.<\/p>\n

I converted the design from the cardboard box I had the other day into a 3D CAD model and headed to the hardware store first thing this morning.<\/p>\n

I'm going to buy this steel plate (T8 \u00d7 100 mm) and machine it.<\/p>\n

(We have a partner metalworking shop, so the dimensions and fit are perfect!)<\/p>\n

\"Flat<\/p>\n

I'll take this to the metal bender next.<\/p>\n

At first, I was thinking of using pipe, but due to size issues, I decided to go with a bend instead.<\/p>\n

Bending is definitely more expensive, though lol (the effort involved in bending a flat sheet to make a circle).<\/p>\n

\"Flat<\/p>\n

This is the part after it has been bent.<\/p>\n

Isn't this amazing?<\/p>\n

It bends with incredible precision!!<\/p>\n

By the way, this metal-bending shop is a hotbed of incredibly skilled craftsmen who get orders from all over the country! lol<\/p>\n

\"Griddle\"<\/p>\n

Cut out the section of this 8 mm steel plate that will form the flange.<\/p>\n

This steel plate is 1 meter long, so since I don't have a band saw big enough for it, I'll cut it with a gas torch.<\/p>\n

\"Gas<\/p>\n

Place the metal plate where you want to cut, and slide it carefully to make a clean, straight cut.<\/p>\n

(The burner wasn't working right this time, so I couldn't get a clean cut, and on top of that, the flame adjustment was acting weird, which was a pain lol)<\/p>\n

\"Sheet<\/p>\n

I cut it out like this.<\/p>\n

I used a metal saw to cut the melted part that resulted from the gas cutting, but...<\/p>\n

The blade broke halfway through, lol.<\/p>\n

\"Metal<\/p>\n

As a result, it has become difficult to continue working from here, so we have moved to a location near our officeWakazono Manufacturing<\/a><\/span><\/span>I'm bringing it in! lol<\/p>\n

\"Drilling\"<\/p>\n

Make a hole in the ear area.<\/p>\n

It's a really mundane task, lol.<\/p>\n

That said, drilling holes in metal is actually one of the easier tasks.<\/p>\n

With other materials (other than iron), they\u2019re either incredibly hard or incredibly soft, which makes things really difficult.<\/p>\n

In a way, iron is the easiest to work with.<\/p>\n

\"Drilling\"<\/p>\n

All that's left is the welding, but I'll leave that to the pros lol<\/p>\n

I did the welding for the bent parts using a semi-automatic welder, but as expected, welding in tight spaces is difficult.<\/p>\n

The quality was on a whole different level compared to us, who only weld once in a while lol<\/p>\n

\"Casing<\/p>\n

I put it together.<\/p>\n

This is the kind of atmosphere it has.<\/p>\n

It's designed so that the casing locks when it's suspended.<\/p>\n

I did the vertical weld after the bending process lol. Please don't look lol.<\/p>\n

It looks just as good as the CAD drawing. (Well, that\u2019s how I made it, lol.)<\/p>\n

The nut has been welded in place to prevent the bolt and nut from coming loose.<\/p>\n

Make sure it won't come loose under any circumstances, even due to vibrations.<\/p>\n

\"Casing<\/p>\n

It looks pretty bad when it rusts, so I went ahead and painted it for now lol<\/p>\n

This is basically finished for now, but I'll make some adjustments after trying it out on site.<\/p>\n

Of course, I'm basing this on some speculation, so,Balancing Imagination and Reality<\/span><\/strong><\/span>You need to do this.<\/p>\n

Doing this will make it even more perfect.<\/p>\n

If we don't get it just right, there's a risk of an accident.<\/p>\n

In particular, please make sure that jigs like these are perfectly aligned with the actual parts.<\/p>\n

Another batch of pipes is coming in today, so I plan to cut and adjust them lol.<\/p>\n
