The technical interns were doing the spray coating! lol<\/p>\n

It's been two weeks since I started.<\/p>\n
From rebar installation to shotcrete application.<\/p>\n
I'm guessing the day program wouldn't let us go this far at this pace, right? lol<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But here's the thing. Think about what their goal is.<\/p>\n
Their goal is to come here to make money before they even learn the skills.<\/p>\n
I earn money and send it to my parents back home.<\/p>\n
Since I took out a loan in my first year, I'll probably have to use my income to pay it back.<\/p>\n
However, starting in my second year, I\u2019ll be earning money for my parents\u2014and for myself.<\/p>\n
That's why I work especially hard in my first year so that it will pay off in my second year.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
To make money, you need to learn the job quickly.<\/p>\n
Once you learn the job, you'll get a raise sooner.<\/p>\n
(I tell them, \u201cDo your best in your first year. If you can get the job done in your second year, I\u2019ll keep promoting you!\u201d)<\/p>\n
If they can perform just as well as Japanese employees, I intend to pay them the same salary as Japanese employees.<\/p>\n

I think that makes me want to work even harder. (Of course, I make sure to give them plenty of time off!)<\/p>\n
That\u2019s exactly why I keep giving them challenging tasks. (After thoroughly discussing safety, of course.)<\/p>\n
It's actually going surprisingly smoothly, lol.<\/p>\n

I was watching him the other day, and even though he\u2019d only been playing for about three days, he was already playing while carefully finishing the simple chord progressions!<\/p>\n

And while I'm at it, I'm cleaning the inside of the frame and trimming the sides with a spatula, lol.<\/p>\n
I just couldn't help but laugh!<\/p>\n
I received confirmation from the technical intern.<\/p>\n
