This is Enta.<\/p>\n

The other day, I had the opportunity to speak with a supervisor at a major company.<\/p>\n

In that context,I really don't want to go to a NEXCO construction site!<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

We had a blast talking about that lol<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The content was very similar to my own experience, so I could really relate to how you felt!<\/p>\n

When asked what the biggest problem is, they say it\u2019s definitely the construction management handled by subcontractors.<\/p>\n

I'm well aware that NEXCO itself is arrogant, but the arrogance of the construction management team is on a whole other level lol<\/p>\n

He\u2019s all groveling in front of the NEXCO employees, but he really gives the subcontractors a hard time!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If someone leaves a particularly bad impression on me, it\u2019s practically bullying. It seems that bullying occurs when people use their titles as a cover.<\/p>\n

The site representative is putting up with it, considering it just part of the job, but,<\/p>\n

Construction contractors like us, who are first- and second-tier subcontractors, are naturally affected by this as well.<\/p>\n

As long as quality control isn't finished, the as-built inspection is stuck waiting. And yet they're telling us to hurry up with the construction, lol.<\/p>\n

\"The mixing temperature is 5 degrees or lower, so you have to remix it.\" (The temperature keeps dropping rapidly while I'm there.)<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the drilling stops and the casing gets jammed, lol.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Well, I\u2019m fully aware that construction management is important. However, if we don\u2019t take the site conditions into account, work on-site will come to a halt.<\/p>\n

They act like they don't know anything about the delays caused by construction management. If things come to a halt, it's the contractor's fault.<\/p>\n

NEXCO employees are probably unaware that this is rampant.<\/p>\n

After all, the situation on the ground is being made to look as if everything is proceeding normally.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I think that if this situation improves, operations on the ground will be carried out more efficiently and accurately.<\/p>\n

You're not saying we should cut corners on construction management; rather, you're trying to say that letting personal feelings get in the way of management leads to problems, right?<\/p>\n

There are plenty of times when I think, \u201cYou can\u2019t really say it like that, can you?\u201d lol<\/p>\n

If you keep talking and acting that way, NEXCO project bids will keep skyrocketing, and more and more construction companies will want to avoid them as much as possible.<\/p>\n

I'm sure it's actually on the rise (though a company I know has flat-out said they won't work with NEXCO, lol).<\/p>\n

I went to a NEXCO construction site up north a while back, and man, it was a total mess\u2014the subcontractors were just awful, absolutely awful. (Of course, there are some good people too!)<\/p>\n

He's really full of himself, and when someone tells him something he doesn't know, he gets annoyed and starts talking harshly, lol.<\/p>\n

So, when I asked a local contractor, it turns out that local contractors don't take on NEXCO projects.<\/p>\n

In fact, contractors are coming in from other prefectures. That just goes to show how much NEXCO is disliked.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

From NEXCO\u2019s perspective, though, they might think they don\u2019t really need contractors like that to do the work, lol.<\/p>\n

Is this the time when I need to work on improving my physical condition?<\/p>\n

I suppose the companies that can reliably carry out NEXCO\u2019s construction projects will inevitably become major general contractors.<\/p>\n

That said, even the construction manager was a victim of extreme workplace harassment...<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We\u2019ve now entered an era where even clients are being chosen<\/span><\/strong><\/span>Is that what's happening?<\/p>\n

With a shortage of contractors and supervisors, and the client side facing a string of unsuccessful bids, where is this all headed?<\/p>\n

In that sense, it seems to me that we\u2019re entering a difficult era.<\/p>\n

The days of placing all the blame on contractors are well and truly over, aren't they?<\/p>\n

I suppose this is where the times are changing.<\/p>\n

The future of the construction industry looks promising! And I hope we can keep steering it in the right direction!<\/p>\n
