color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/en\/wordpress\/2017\/04\/12\/%e5%af%be%e5%87%a6%e3%82%b7%e3%83%aa%e3%83%bc%e3%82%ba%e3%81%9d%e3%81%ae%ef%bc%93%e3%82%a2%e3%83%b3%e3%82%ab%e3%83%bc%e3%81%8c%e6%8a%9c%e3%81%91%e3%81%9f%e5%a0%b4%e5%90%88\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Troubleshooting Series (Part 3): What to Do If an Anchor Comes Loose<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>How to Remove an Anchor If It Comes Loose<\/h2>\n<h3>The spot where it came out<\/h3>\n<p>First of all, it\u2019s extremely important to figure out where the leak is.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Is it on a slope at a high elevation?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Is this even a place where a backhoe (heavy equipment) can drive on unpaved ground?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Can a crane be used?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>How to Remove<\/h3>\n<h4>On the slope<\/h4>\n<p>If you need to remove it from a slope, you have no choice but to use a jack to lift it out.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, in the case of permanent anchors, there is a coating, so the work involves cutting that coating away as you go.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Use a jack to pull out the steel wire \u2192 Remove the jack and strip the sheath \u2192 Use the jack to pull it out (repeat)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>A backhoe can get in there.<\/h4>\n<p>It comes off relatively easily.<\/p>\n<p>Use a wire clip to hold each one individually.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3622\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/95a80dd4def69d5a2be15243e51db7ec.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"545\" height=\"460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/95a80dd4def69d5a2be15243e51db7ec.jpg 545w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/95a80dd4def69d5a2be15243e51db7ec-300x253.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 545px) 100vw, 545px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you attach this to a backhoe and pull hard, it comes out easily.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you use a jack, a ball joint, or a crane, you can remove it with a force of a few hundred kilograms.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Once it starts moving, it slides right out.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3>A crane can be used.<\/h3>\n<p>You can use the same method as described above for the BH with a crane as well.<\/p>\n<p>The same applies to how to remove temporary supports, but,<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3623\" src=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/077ace61619547a1936aedf53a5e4a34.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"534\" height=\"361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/077ace61619547a1936aedf53a5e4a34.jpg 534w, https:\/\/norimen.net\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/077ace61619547a1936aedf53a5e4a34-300x203.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 534px) 100vw, 534px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fujiwara Industries Co., Ltd. sells products like this.<\/p>\n<p>This tool securely locks onto PC steel strands and allows you to pull them out.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #0000ff;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.0666836881.com\/index.php?%E3%82%A2%E3%83%B3%E3%83%9C%E3%83%B3%E3%83%89%E3%83%AD%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unbound Rock<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It can be used with either a BH or a crane.<\/p>\n<h3>Tips for Removing Permanent Anchors<\/h3>\n<p>If it\u2019s already come out a bit with the jack, go ahead and pull it out as far as the jack will allow for now.<\/p>\n<p>If you can use a crane or BH, go ahead and use them.<\/p>\n<p>If you run into any problems along the way,<strong>Don't push yourself\u2014switch to the jack instead.<\/strong>Let's pull it out.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The moment it slips out is the most dangerous.<\/span><\/strong>That's it.<strong>The steel wire snaps with a *plunk*.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you hold the steel wire with a rag just before it comes out, it won't bounce around as much.<br \/>\n (People sometimes say it's dangerous to hold it... but it's really no big deal.)<\/p>\n<p>The position of the crane and BH is crucial at the moment of release.<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(Chance of it bouncing and hitting something)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the moment the wire comes loose, if the crane or BH operator swings the wire back in the direction it came from, it\u2019s less likely to snap.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, you can pull it by hand. (You'll get covered in grease.)<\/p>\n<p>There is no machine that removes unbonded material while spinning around with a motor. (e.g., rental equipment)<\/p>\n<p>If the structure under pressure is a secondary product, such as a pressure plate, there is a risk of it falling. Please secure it in place.<\/p>\n<h3>Regarding Reapplication<\/h3>\n<p>Since it\u2019s difficult to pour concrete in exactly the same spot, vary the position slightly up, down, left, and right\u2014about once or twice (within the construction tolerance limits).<\/p>\n<p>If you want to adjust the angle further, you'll need to recalculate.<\/p>\n<p>Please make the embedment length as long as possible. Anchors are not a universal solution for changes in soil conditions.<br \/>\n (The design team is almost never held responsible. It\u2019s usually brushed off as a construction error.)<\/p>\n<p>Inject grout into the original hole.
